Yoongi pov

I was sitting in one of the large tents. I await for hoseok to come back. While I waited, I continue reading the rest of the book. The book did provide some answers to our questions that bother us for a long time. Despite having some questions solved, there was still some bigger questions remain. Then one of the soldiers came up to me. He then quickly kneel to me.

" General, the soldier you wished to see is here now." the soldier said as he went to his position by the tent fold and guarded the entrance with other soldiers. I quickly closed the book and put it to the side. I then put my two hands together. I looked ahead into the tent fold's entrance. I can hear the sight footsteps by the tent. Soon enough, a taller soldier than I entered the tent.

" Hoseok..." I said quietly to him. The look on his face was obviously was the face of pure confusion. Hoseok then took the seat by the table across my grand chair. He looked at me.

" general...what seems to be the problem..." he said to me with the tone in his voice of a sight fear and uneasiness. I also noticed his consent subtle twirling with his fingers. I took a sigh. Then, I put on my serious general face. I had to put on that face since this will be an investigation chat.

" So, Hoseok... There seems to be an item... That Had capture my attention... an old book..." I told him as I slowly moved the book to the center of the table so that he can see it clearly. His eye widen.

" General-"

" don't call me general. You know I despise hearing general instead of my real name from my dear good friend. I also know that you will want to lie to me. I know that lying won't work out well for you since you are terrible at lying." I said as I laughed genuinely.

" Yoongi...since you already knew that I will try to lie... I will tell the truth anyway..." he said as he took a sigh. He then continues on. " so, you probably are wondering where I got this book. I got this book while I was preparing my cargo for another world to trade the goods. A soldier came to me and told me of this strange new portal that opened in the forest. Even so that you did clearly stated that it dangerous to enter an unknown portal and I should never step a foot in. I did anyway went to the forest and entered the portal without your permission..." he said.

His gestures as he speaks perfectly captured the imagery. The imagery was formed in my head, showing him entering the portal with the face of unsure. I knew that he was scared of admitting that he knows that he will be in trouble right now. However, this time will be different. I put down my hands on the table and faced with hoseok.

" it okay, hoseok. I can assure you that you won't get I trouble for breaking my rules this time. I have more important things to do so anyway. " I said.

" Okay...so yeah, I enter the portal and found a place that looks like it an empty castle. But, the castle looks like it in it destroyed state for some parts of the castle. I walked around the ruin and came across a still-standing old library. There were many books all stacked up. Then there was the book, laying in a desk. The book got my attention. I don't know why this book is the only thing I find interesting. I decided to take it and bring it back to here..." he finished up.

The silence soon has overtaken in the tent. It took a while for me to finally finish thinking about his story. His story seems Legit. Hoseok is definitely not a type of person to try to make up an entire story anyway. But, the strangest thing about the story was the part where he explained about a portal appearing in the forest. It was impossible to have a portal operating in the territory of ours.

Only the citizen of the white dragon kingdom may have a portal working in the forest. The thing is that The outsiders can't be in the part of the forest that closes to our place. They will have to put that portal in the farther away from the forest in order for it to work properly. It was so strange for a portal to randomly appeared in an obviously not working territory and bringing hoesok over to an empty castle.

Was it trying to get hoesok to get the book? If that the case, it still doesn't make sense to why they want hoseok to get the book. Does the book have something special? I look over to hoseok. He still was in his seat. His face was twisted in an expression of worrying and also a little bit of fear. I put my hands to my face in frustration.

I was getting tired of trying to wack my head to figure out the answer to this case. I just can't come to answer the question. Then a faint bell was ranging in distance was heard. I snapped my head toward the bell. My face suddenly changed to serious.

I can hear several panicked voices of my soldiers. They were shouting that we got attacked by an unknown enemy. I quickly went out of the tent. Hoesok followed me behind. I then whistle to call my horse, savior. Soon enough, the horse was quick to arrive on time. I quickly jumped into the savior in a hurry.

Before hoseok could stop me. I was already off. As I was riding along with the campsite, I kept shouting at Soldiers with commands. The chaos soon flooded the site. I can even feel myself getting more afraid and doubting myself. I then pushed that away to keep it from distracting me. I also sometimes have to get savior jump over some burned and fallen trees from the recent attack.

I didn't know that fire can get so deadly and fast. I never had seen anything like this attack before. What even stranger is that we never even got attacked in the campsite in like forever and all suddenly, we are under attack. It just got even weirder.

" Everyone! Go to your battle station! You know your place! " I shouted with my loud voice in order for many and many of the soldiers to hear me. All the soldiers shouted in Union and hurriedly went to their position. I continued to ride in the campsite to try to find some injured soldiers. Soon, I did say at least four soldiers. They were dragging one of the soldiers. The other two had both left arms left dangling. Lastly, the last soldier was covered in all the fresh drops of blood. I quickly got off my horse and helped the injured soldiers.

To help them, I opened the portal of my own and got the soldiers to get in the portal to be transported to inside within the walls of the kingdom. After I finished helping them, I quickly jumped back into the horse and drew my sword. I then snapped the straps and the horse was once again off running at a very fast speed. As I ride, I can feel the rising rage inside of me. The next thing I want to is to face the enemy.

I quickly stopped at one of the soldiers. I asked him, " Where is the enemy?!"

" They are near the west of the campsite."

" Thank you!" I tried to snap the straps to run again but, the soldier quickly held my hand.

" Wait! The enemy is not what you expect, general...the enemy is not even a human, it some sort of a beast. Even if you tried to stand against it, it will surely cause you a lot of pain and injury. It will also be useless to use magic in it. It will not be fazed at all."

" look, soldier, I can promise you that I will win the battle with this 'beast'. While I at the battlefield, please do help others that are in pain. They will need your help." I said as I snapped the straps of the horse. I turned the horse to face the west and ran off, leaving the soldier to be all on his own.

While I was running toward the location of the beast. I was starting to feel anxious. It was crazy to think about that there a beast existed that can go against magic. I never had heard of a beast like that. All the best I had ever come across, they were not able to battle against our magic. This just keeps getting more crazy.

Soon, I finally arrived at the West side of the campsite. The west of the campsite was already at its burning limit. Several tents were still on fire. The smoke was so strong. It causing me to barely able to see through it thick smoke clouds. I then jumped out of the savior. I had my sword in my hand, ready to slice through the beast.
