Yoongi pov

I was sitting in one of the large tents. I await for hoseok to come back. While I waited, I continue reading the rest of the book. The book did provide some answers to our questions that bother us for a long time. Despite having some questions solved, there was still some bigger questions remain. Then one of the soldiers came up to me. He then quickly kneel to me.

" General, the soldier you wished to see is here now." the soldier said as he went to his position by the tent fold and guarded the entrance with other soldiers. I quickly closed the book and put it to the side. I then put my two hands together. I looked ahead into the tent fold's entrance. I can hear the sight footsteps by the tent. Soon enough, a taller soldier than I entered the tent.

" Hoseok..." I said quietly to him. The look on his face was obviously was the face of pure confusion. Hoseok then took the seat by the table across my grand chair. He looked at me.

" general...what seems to be the problem..." he said to me with the tone in his voice of a sight fear and uneasiness. I also noticed his consent subtle twirling with his fingers. I took a sigh. Then, I put on my serious general face. I had to put on that face since this will be an investigation chat.

" So, Hoseok... There seems to be an item... That Had capture my attention... an old book..." I told him as I slowly moved the book to the center of the table so that he can see it clearly. His eye widen.

" General-"

" don't call me general. You know I despise hearing general instead of my real name from my dear good friend. I also know that you will want to lie to me. I know that lying won't work out well for you since you are terrible at lying." I said as I laughed genuinely.

" Yoongi...since you already knew that I will try to lie... I will tell the truth anyway..." he said as he took a sigh. He then continues on. " so, you probably are wondering where I got this book. I got this book while I was preparing my cargo for another world to trade the goods. A soldier came to me and told me of this strange new portal that opened in the forest. Even so that you did clearly stated that it dangerous to enter an unknown portal and I should never step a foot in. I did anyway went to the forest and entered the portal without your permission..." he said.

His gestures as he speaks perfectly captured the imagery. The imagery was formed in my head, showing him entering the portal with the face of unsure. I knew that he was scared of admitting that he knows that he will be in trouble right now. However, this time will be different. I put down my hands on the table and faced with hoseok.

" it okay, hoseok. I can assure you that you won't get I trouble for breaking my rules this time. I have more important things to do so anyway. " I said.

" Okay...so yeah, I enter the portal and found a place that looks like it an empty castle. But, the castle looks like it in it destroyed state for some parts of the castle. I walked around the ruin and came across a still-standing old library. There were many books all stacked up. Then there was the book, laying in a desk. The book got my attention. I don't know why this book is the only thing I find interesting. I decided to take it and bring it back to here..." he finished up.

The silence soon has overtaken in the tent. It took a while for me to finally finish thinking about his story. His story seems Legit. Hoseok is definitely not a type of person to try to make up an entire story anyway. But, the strangest thing about the story was the part where he explained about a portal appearing in the forest. It was impossible to have a portal operating in the territory of ours.

Only the citizen of the white dragon kingdom may have a portal working in the forest. The thing is that The outsiders can't be in the part of the forest that closes to our place. They will have to put that portal in the farther away from the forest in order for it to work properly. It was so strange for a portal to randomly appeared in an obviously not working territory and bringing hoesok over to an empty castle.
