Enjoy! I wrote in an enby character, if there are any people who find something wrong in what I say, please let me know. I could only do a certain amount of research with school going on so please don't hesitate.

Izuku's POV

After a short flight over Japan, Hawks and I land on top of a relatively large three story building. The rooftop has something akin to a helicopter pad, making it easier to find where we should land. The inside of the building was not exactly something you would expect from a hero agency, with the halls decorated in posters of movies and bands, a popcorn machine randomly sitting in the middle of a hallway. Random game rooms branched off of the main hallway, different training rooms scattered between those. Eventually, we reached the main reception area where a single person stood with a phone in hand. Probably a sidekick. Short fluffy white hair was piled on top of their head, freckles dotted over their cheeks and nose with enchanting purple eyes smiling at me.

They turned toward me with a smile, "Hello, you must be Hawks' intern, I'm surprised he didn't run off on you." They took a second to glare at my winged mentor. "Anyways, my name is Cloud, what's your name?"

"My name is Izuku. Is Cloud your hero name?" Is cloud related to their quirk?

A small chuckle escaped their lips, "No, my hero name is Blizzard, my quirk is called snowstorm which is what it sounds like. I guess you could say Cloud is like a nickname, but not. I don't know how to really explain, but I didn't identify with my assigned sex, so I changed my name to what fit with what I identify as on the gender spectrum or rather outside of the gender spectrum. Basically, I changed my name to fit with my nonbinary identity."

"Okay, so you aren't on the gender spectrum and your name isn't something assigned to any gender. Being like that makes you happy, so I don't see a problem, are there any pronouns I should use?" I don't see a problem with letting another person be happy with themselves.

"I use they, them pronouns, thank you for asking."

"It's no problem, anyways, what are we doing now?" Despite how fun this conversation is, this is still an internship.

The two of us turned towards Hawks for an answer, but all we found was an empty space. Did I really get so wrapped up in the conversation that I forgot to monitor my surroundings? Wow, such a rookie move, guess I'll have to work on my concentration while I'm here. Cloud grabs my hand gently and starts pulling me through the halls, up a vibrant blue staircase and past a washed out green door until we reach an off white door.

With an annoyed sigh Cloud opens the door to reveal a room with a dark grey walls, a white bed, and dark wood floors. "This is a guest room, we mainly use it for when us sidekicks need to rest after chasing Hawks, but you can use it during your internship. Don't worry about us, there are around thirteen more guest rooms around for us to use. It's getting a little late, so I'll leave a note for Hawks so he knows where you are. If he doesn't come and get you by nine tomorrow, come and find me on the first floor."

I give a small nod as they leave and start to explore my temporary room. There really wasn't much to see, everything exactly how it seemed at a glance, maybe the bed felt a bit more comfortable than it looked, but that was the extent of it. With a tired sigh, I plopped onto the bed at last and left myself drift off without doing anything else.

Hawks' POV

While Cloud and my little intern talked, I snuck up to the roof and went out for some chicken. Amidst the clouds I could only remember Izuku's own skills, the way he seemed to be held back when we flew over one hundred. How he seemed to understand the air when he flew, never fighting against it. It was almost like he was born in the skies, but never got a chance to be there. Even as I chomped down on some takeout chicken, my mid-flight thoughts would not go away, leaving me to ponder what exactly was the nature of the quirk my new intern had?

After landing back at the agency, I decided to give up on it for today and hope that later my questions would be answered. With the chicken bin thrown away I finally rested and fell into sleep.

I hope everyone enjoyed the chapter! Please let me know if I misrepresented enbies, I never want to cause any harm to a community which has already faced a lot of negative things. Thank you for reading everyone and I'll try and update soon!
