"What about him?" A short boy with curly brown hair and pastel glasses asks.

"The stereotypical white boy buying sweatpants? No fucking way," responds an equally short girl, with an air of badassery.

They were in your average Walmart, in your average small town, spending their time like they usually did, that is drawing strangers in Walmart. Oliver and Rosemary liked doing this, though they never had the balls to show anyone their work. His cartoons were improved by her eye for detail, and her realism given life through his imagination.

Now before you get any ideas, they are not a couple. In fact, Oliver is as gay as they come, and Rosemary has a very specific taste. A taste that would not be interested in Mr. Muffins with his Rainbow suspenders.

Now, just as Oliver had started a drawing about a rather striking boy with blue eyes (who wasn't blond what a shock am I right), Rosemary was approached by a girl her age.

"Have I seen you before?" Rosemary highly doubted that, considering she spent most of her time in her bedroom at Oliver's house, where they live with Olly's moms.

"I don't think so,"

" Such a shame," the girl said as she eyed Rosemary with her doc martins and her pink hair, "Is that me?"

Rosemary looked down at the drawing she was working on which highlighted her (excessive) eyeliner and punk inspired outfit.

"Are you into girls?," Rosemary wasn't quite shocked by this next statement coming out of the girls mouth.

"No," said Oliver with his mouth full of nutter butters.

" She wasn't asking you!" Rosemary whipped around and smacked him on the arm.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oliver loudly and clumsily "snuck" into Rosemary's room to wake her up, accompanied by her 10 year old brother Aries (who always knew too much). Oliver had been up baking since 4am (due to stress) and had decided to enter the lions den (good luck with that).

Olly was widely known in his school for his baking habits, and the only reason the kids he knew didn't hate tests was because of the treats he'd make due to the crippling anxiety that came with schoolwork.

"It's time to wake up, hellooo-" He was cut off by pain. You see Rosemary has a habit of putting anybody who tries to awake her into a ruthless headlock.

"Itss ... tiiiiiiiiiime to waake upp," wheezed Oliver.

"Where are the muffins, I smell them on you." She threatened, threateningly (I'm sorry I'm writing this in my public library). She then released him, because she can't kill him or Oliver's parents might evict her.

"I'm bringing them to school! We'll eat them in Mr. Andersons class,"

"You know I get my pick of the litter Ollie, It's cause you love me."

"YEahh. But only if you get ready for school," Oliver then dashed to his room to don his outfit hat he's had picked out for weeks, a cream colored sweater, light jeans, his rose glasses, rainbow suspenders, and red converse. Rosemary eventually, after a couple of slams on the snooze button, came out of her room wearing black ripped jeans, doc martins, and a Gorillaz tee.

"Smash hit as always Ollie, I can't believe my baby's already all grown up! Gonna be a sophmore" Said Oliver's mother (the other one was at her usual morning workout because we support strong women).

"Hey at least you have the comfort that he'll never be as tall as you!" Rosemary snickered.

"YoU'RE JuST as SHORT aS MEE!"

"Not with these shoes I ain't," and with a slam of the door, Oliver and Rosemary's last normal day as teenagers ended.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The rather obnoxious school bell rang, in their rather obnoxious school, with its obnoxious kids and yet despite the rather clear schedule each student was carefully mailed Rosemary was late. This didn't faze Oliver in the slightest he was happy as a pig in shit. Right in his element, art class, first day of school, and his muffins being handed out.

The reason of Rosemary's lateness was a whole other matter.
