Warning! If you didn't read the last chapter because of the warnings, this is just the update on that. Nothing relative to most of the story is in this chapter, so keep that in mind if you have triggers and just want to wait until the main chapter uploads. Zak's POV
Lights. Flashing lights. Muffled sirens.
I sat up in a hospital bed, bandages wrapped around my nose and other various parts of my face.
The doctor came in shortly after and told me not to worry and that only a part of my nose had been fractured. (Lucky me..)
Nobody was aloud to visit yet as I was still being checked up upon.
My phone was blowing up.
What.. Happened..?
Birthday party..
Darryl..
Glass shattered..
Door swung open..
Ex..
Pinned intruder..
Shots.
Wait. WAIT. SHIT--
I had to figure out if he was okay. BadBoyHalo.. BadBoyHalo...
C'mon, C'mon, pick up..
Voicemail.
Try again..
Voicemail.
ZELK!
Voicemail.
Everyone went straight to voicemail. I just hope their okay...
*Somewhere Else...*
Zelk's POV
After Zak passed out and Callahan was on the ground, we helped pick up Zak and bring him to the stretcher. Darryl went with the cops to go into questioning, as Callahan went to another ambulance.
We all were told to stay inside for the rest of the night and wait until someone showed up to tell them anything. Depending on if Darryl was charged or not, we would have to stay in Tampa until further notice. We all sighed at the fact that Darryl might be the only one getting charged, but that'd be a rare thing to happen seeing as he has so many allegations against Cal.
We all had to go into questioning tomorrow, so we waited for the call to go.
