"You intrigue me."
"What the hell did he mean by that??" I lay on my bed, face hidden under my pillow, feeling utterly confused.
"Darn kangaroo, confusing me for the whole day just by saying two stupid words..."
There was something about the way he said it. Then followed by a questionable gaze. What was he thinking at that moment? I couldn't bring my mind into understanding the reason behind his words, hence I honestly didn't want to know...or did I?
I whined once again. What was he doing to me? It was low key terrified.
"I swear the next time I see you—" I was cut off by a knock on the door.
"Who dares interrupt me during my bedtime??" I menaced, sitting up and watching the door creak open. In came the one, the only, the almighty, the godlike— also the last person I wanted to see: aka Felix Lee.
"It's barely past noon." He retorted, as he popped his head inside the room.
"You're interrupting my nap time, then." Said I, glaring daggers at him.
"You're so weird sometimes." He commented as he made his way inside the room, closing the door behind him.
"Since when was napping weird?"
"When you do it."
"Funk you, you hot Australian bastard!" With that I threw a pillow in his direction, which he barely managed to dodge as he was too busy gasping.
"You just complimented me!" I rolled my eyes as I threw myself back in my sleeping position. "What? You want me to stop?"
"Please don't." He replied almost instantly.
Silent soon followed. Neither of us knew how to continue the conversation and frankly all I wanted to do was drown inside the sheets of my bed, and disappear from the face of the earth.
"So..."
It was already awkward, how in the world did he make it worse?
"Daichi, huh, what a guy—"
"Felix."
"Alright, I'll just get some air. Bye!" And with that, he rushed out the door, completely forgetting to close it behind him. I groaned at the sight of the fully opened door.
"The door!" I called out as loud as I possibly could, however with no response whatsoever.
"Hey kangaroo, close the mother-ducking door!" Still nothing. I lay there for a few seconds, debating whether I should get up and go beat up his sorry self or stay and die in my sleep. '5 more minutes...' I thought. However not long after, I felt a pair of eyes watching me. My eyebrows furrowed at the feeling while my hand searched for the first 'weapon' I could find. Whoever this stalker was, I was going to show them a bad time.
My hand initially found its way across the rug to the only obvious item on the bed: a pillow. I sighed, the best I got.
The next few seconds were the longest I had ever felt in my life. Seemed like said stalker preferred to just stay there for an eternity.
'Alright, Chae, on the count of three, you turn around and attack...'
1...
I clutched my hold on the pillow, digging my fingers on both its sides.
2...
'I swear if it's you, kangaroo, it won't end well...'
3!
