As I rode to work the other night I decided that I like January. It's a month that always seems to get a rough deal as the world returns to work. January can seem rather drab after the excitement of the holiday season.
I like it though, the chance to settle down and work hard for future goals and dreams. A chance for a fresh start or to renew interest in an old hobby.
I've been working on my website a bit more this week mainly as I've started a Blogging 101 challenge from WordPress. I enjoy my site but my content has been a bit haphazard and unfocused.
One week into the challenge and my website plan is more focused. I want the site to provide extra value for my readers, maps of locations in my books, histories of places and things, interviews with characters etc. The type of thing that would be included in Dvd extras.
Editing Portal Wars is going well I have edited another 4 chapters this week and hope to do another this evening. I'm working at the main day job all tomorrow. 12 hour shift followed by a sleep in.
