I'm also thinking about, will Jeno and I's marriage last a long time?
Will we have children together?
Will we move into a house together?
And lastly, will I ever love him like I used to?
I shake those thoughts out as I don't want to think about them right now.
The car stops and I look up, I see that we have arrived. We both get out the car and enter the restaurant. Jeno grabs my hand and holds it tight, we both walk up the stairs into the beautiful restaurant.
It is such a pretty building with grey walls and fairy lights surrounding the whole building. Both sides of the building has two large stone lions sitting on the ground. At the top of the stairs is a revolving door that spins. I used to love those types of door when I was a young child.
Jeno and I enter while we are still holding hands, it seems like he does not want to let me go. I look around and I am amazed by how everything looks around me. There is a small hallway which has a red velvet carpet. The walls are made from marbled black and white stone with hints of glitter. Its so gorgeous.
A waitress comes up to Jeno and I "Hello, have you booked a table?" She asks. Jeno nods and gives her his name.
"Ok, come with me" She says and takes two large menus. We were led down the hallway, up some stairs and to a square table, next to the table was a large window.
We both sit down opposite each other. I look out the window and a gasp leaves my mouth as the beautiful view is in front of me. The city is dark but the lights are shining up the place and making it calming. The stars in the sky are glistening beautifully. I smile as I look around.
I get out my thoughts as I hear "beautiful, isn't it?". I turn my head to see Jeno looking down at his menu while speaking to me.
"Ah yes it is" I say as I pick up my menu and open it up, I scan through the different meals to try and see which one sounds nice. They all sound delicious but the price is too expensive. It's £4.92 for bruschetta, it's only a piece of bread topped with pesto covered tomatoes and a splash of balsamic vinegar. I could make that at home for a lot less than that.
"Jeno, this is too expensive" I speak up while I am still looking at the prices.
A chuckle leaves his mouth as he says "Nothing is too expensive". I roll my eyes and go back to thinking what I want to eat. After choosing what we want to eat, we talk for a little bit.
"Are you excited to get married?" Jeno says.
I don't know how to answer that....I've always wanted a nice wedding. When I was with Jeno, I wanted to get married to him but things changed, he changed and I didn't like it. Now I don't want to even know Jeno at all.
I just nod. "Are you really?" Jeno asks looking deep into my eyes to try and find the true answer.
"I'm just scared" I whisper.
