Fruits are widely eaten by lots of people. They could be eaten as appetizers, desserts or probably breakfast .It has a lot of health benefits and should be eaten at all times. Fruits in season are likely to be cheaper and of good quality which is the best value. They are indeed refreshing and thirst-quenching.
HEALTH BENEFITS.
1. Contains cellulose(carbohydrates form) which prevents constipation.2. Raw fruits are of greater value because vitamins are easily destroyed when cooked e.g vitamin A & C.
3. Sugar contained in ripe fruits makes it easy to digest.
4. Unripe fruits may cause constipation, diarrhoea and other stomach upsets.
5. Fruits rich in sugar e.g banana, grapes, oranges are more nutritive than the less sweet type.FRUIT SALAD RECIPE
INGREDIENTS: pineapple, mango, banana, pawpaw, orange and any fruit of your choice which goes best together.
Syrup: 4 tablespoons of sugar, 250ml water.
PROCEDURES:
1. Wash fruit; remove skin, cut up into small pieces and place in different bowls.
2. To prepare the syrup, dissolve the sugar in the water. Boil for 5min, but do not allow it to color.
3. Gently mix the fruit together, pour the hot syrup over the fruit, stir gently and leave in refrigerator to be cold or chilled.
4. Arrange in a glass dish or fruit bowl, pay attention to the color scheme. Pour over the syrup and serve with liquid milk as a dressing. Then it ready to serve🍽..
