You cuddled into Zanes shoulder as his grip around your torso gently pulled you closer. Smiling softly you traced patterns on his pale bare chest.
"Good morning Y/n" Zane said smiling as you paused one finger still on his chest.
"Morning Zane" You chuckled as your face grew red. Planting a small kiss on his cheek you got up and stretched as his grey and black jacket hung off your shoulders.
"Hey do you want pancakes?" Zane askes brushing his hair back across his left eye.
"Heck yeah!" You said standing up as Zanes jackets swooped down your bare legs to your mid thighs. Checking your phone you frowned at all the messages and calls from Dante. Man, it's a good thing I kept my phone on silent last night. It would have sucked if it interrupted what we were doing, hehe each other.
"Zane look at these" You said, tossing the phone to him. Zane rolled his eyes at the messages, as you laughed at the voicemails.
"Ugh forget him let's have breakfast" The black haired male said as you followed him downstairs. Checking your phone one more time you still felt a sliver of regret about how long you let yourself be unhappy, but after blocking his number you felt a million times lighter.
Spending the rest of the morning baking pancakes and cupcakes you both had the time of your lives.
"Zane, really I can't thank you enough for what you did for me" You said in a soft tone squeezing your hand.
"It's not really a problem really Y/n, I'm just happy you're happy" He said softly blushing without his mask to hide it.
"I called Lucinda and she said she'd be down to have a roommate" You said after chewing on a pancake.
"You're moving out? I'm okay with you staying here" Zane said trying to hide the hurt in his heart.
"Zane I have to because I really, really like you and want this work so we shouldn't do things impulsively" You said with a soft look in your gaze. Just like that all of Zane's fears and insecurities drained out because you cared about him as much as he cared about you.
"So will you go out with me?" You said shyly looking away.
"Ye-yes and I'm pretty sure this counts as a first date" Zane said, stuttering happily.
