I sat and stared into space thinking about where I'd been. A lot had happened the past year. It started out so calm. January was fine, but in the beginning February, February 3rd to be exact, everything went from normal to insanely bad. It started out like a normal day, well at least normal for me. I woke up at 6:30 on my own like I usually did. I went for my morning run and came back to find my dad still conked out on the couch, which wasn't odd. I was going to my best friend, Jake's, house. I went over there every chance I got and since Dad never cared, usually because he was too drunk or "worn out," I went over there a lot. I even had my own .....
Oh yeah, I forgot the most important thing. I'm Leonardo. I'm a 17 year old freak. Yes, you heard it from me, freak. I'm OCD and more nerdy then any male in my average high school. I guess, if being the hugest nerd of all time gets you the top scores in every class and gets you a scholarship for the best college in the state, I can't complain. I'm a junior of the Muhlenberg County High Schools. I have the best car imaginable and a decent job at the local Subway. My car is an orange Dodge Challenger with all the accessories and black interior. I have a sound system you can hear from miles away. I may be a bore but I've had my fair share of lovers. I'm quite tall and break the barriers of the average nerds' looks. I am skinny but I'm not anorexic. I work out when I'm not doing the normal things a geek like me does. I've never had braces, and never needed them. I have blonde hair and light blue eyes. Which is weird because everyone else in my family are gingers with green eyes. Thanks genetics for making me stick out even more. I was never meant to be normal. God just never had that in mind for me. That reminds me, unlike my dad's family and majority of my friends, I am religious. I attend a 'Church of God' which is like on the line between Pentecostal and not.
Now back to the main point of this documentation. I even had my own bed at Jake's. His family loved me. My family adored him just the same. He didn't have a room at my dad's, but he did at my mom's which is where I was most of the time. That day after I got done doing my morning routine, I jumped in my car and headed towards Walmart. This is when the day get nutty. On my drive, I was driving down the main road, 431. I looked to my left, about 3 miles away from Walmart and I noticed a car heading in my direction. Before I could react this car hit my rear and knocked me straight out of the right side window. I hadn't even registered what was happening before I was picked up off the ground and thrown in another vehicle by two muscular men. Once inside the vehicle, we headed back the way I came. Back to the middle of the country. They taped my mouth and tied my hands. By this point, I knew what was happening. I was being kidnapped. Well, more like being taken captive. I'm not qualitied enough to be called a "kid" anymore. I bowed my head and silently prayed. It was so early Jake wouldn't be up for a few more hours and neither would dad. They will call mom when they find my car. I wish I could be there for her. She will be a disaster. Jake will feel bad because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have been on that road. I hope they play some Beatles at my funeral. Well, that is if I don't find a way out of this. With the guys that are by me, I'd rather not do anything stupid. I need to find out why they are doing this. I'm not a spy or anything cool. I don't do anything cool in general. I don't really have any enemies that hate me enough to want me dead. I don't know what this is about and I'm terrified to find out. I ride quietly in the vehicle. It looked like a decked out stalker van. His is the vehicle that ran into me, hard enough to knock me out of the other side and there's not even a scratch.
Finally, after what felt like forever, the van stopped. In front of us, appeared to be some kind of warehouse. I looked at the men but both had these white theatre masks. One was a brunette and the other was a ginger. They both had decently long hair. Shorter than mine, but not by much. They each got out and the brunette, the bigger of the two, pulled me out and over his shoulder. He carried me into this empty warehouse. The red headed guy didn't follow. Once inside he threw me on the ground. He yelled something in Latin, I only knew that based on a class I had taken one summer. I didn't hear him clear enough to be able to translate. After he yelled that, a woman, came out of the darkness. She was skinny but tall. She had short blonde hair with a strip of black in the front. She was in a black knee length coat and she had on the tallest black high heels I had seen in a good minute. She was wearing light foundation and red lipstick. She had on dark bug sunglasses that hid her eyes. She walked up to me and smiled, looking down at me. She looked at the man who had brought me here. Not long after, the other man rushed in with a duffle bag in hand. He threw it on the ground beside me.
The woman said "Leon, hello." She kneeled down in front of me so we were eye to eye. I sat up properly and gulped. This woman was gonna kill me. I knew it. She was gonna kill me. There's no other reason, I thought. Why else would you bring a 17 year old to a abandoned warehouse? She just sat there and stared at me through her sun glasses. She grabbed them at the side and pulled them up off her eyes and on her head. I saw her eyes and I jumped back. They were identical to my own. Which may sound weird to flip about. But our family's eyes are unmistakably blue. A super rare kind.
