3 months later
"He died?!"
I didn't known whether I should be happy or sad, I felt neither at that moment. I Never considered him as my father anyways, so his death meant nothing to me. I could now live freely, the company could either be mine or I could sell it off. Which was highly unlikely for me, seeing how I was so used to working there.
Turning to Seonghwa, I just looked at him.
"So what are we going to do now?"
I questioned, genuinely confused.
"Well we can start planning the funeral, then start transferring the papers over to your name."
He said while pulling me into a back hug. The whole three months for me had been pretty hectic, the girl was found luckily. But I just had so many meetings and brand offerings to complete.
Moments like this where me and Seonghwa were in our little own bubble relaxed me, I was able to just forget what was happening in my life for just a little bit.
"Lets call Mark first to confirm this, the news might be lying you know..."
I felt him nodding on my shoulder. Waddling my way to the counter, I grabbed my phone and dialed Mark number.
-
"So he overdosed?"
I heard Mark hum. Sighing, I thought of all the things I could do In this situation.
"Mark ill plan the funeral, and you can start transferring names. I hope the media won't cover this..."
Looking at the paper infant of me, I flipped over to read the next page.
"Oh yeah, I think we can pass on the new Idea Mr. Lu gave us. It a pretty big step forward but if we succeed we can get huge gain into out company."
I signed the paper, placing it onto a random pile.
"Okay, well lets hold this funeral privately and get it done by this week."
-
was it really just an overdose?
