All the time that we were in the hall, Edward kept asking me what happened.
And me......I didn't know how to explain all this to him.
Without a single word.....I dragged him with me, going through corridors and corridors, taking turns and turns till we were in front of black metal door which would give creeps to any normal person standing in front of it.....but not me.
I let go of the hand that I was holding and opened the door. There was stairs going down and I started stepping down with Edward trailing behind me till we met the people I wanted to.

"Hey how is it going?" I asked.
"First, the signal is week and second, you shouldn't be here but keeping an eye on Lucas." Mary said as she crossed her arms.
I didn't say a word. What could I say? when I had just cowarded and ran all the way to them?
"I'm sorry...." I apologized for almost ruining the plan, which wasn't exactly a plan.
"It's okay. But please say that he didn't see you." She asked with a sigh.
"I don't think he did. But....he wasn't supposed to be here, he never attended such parties and events, right?" I asked my brows knitted together tightly.
(But little did she know how wrong she was when she said that.)
"May be he expected it? Don't forget that he has eyes and ears every where." Drake, who hadn't said anything the whole time finally spoke. "By the way......are you okay?" He added as he kept working on his tablet to open the box that was sitting on the table.
I just hummed as a response.
"Uhh.... who is HE?" Edward asked from one corner of the room. I would've completely forgotten about him if he hadn't finally spoken.
"Her dad." Replied Drake.
"WHAT!? I was in the same room with my father-in-law!? Oh god....I hope I made a good impression..." He said in shock and then in worry.
"You wouldn't be alive to make a impression the moment he sees you and knows about you...." I said through gritted teeth.
