I stare up at my ceiling.
Music blasting in my ears per usual.
The colored lights I have on loop.
The vibrations of the bass in my head.
Then a knock on my door ruins it all.
"Good morning Chibi-chan~"
Looking up, I spot the my older brother, Kuroo Tetsurō. His hair messier than usual.
"What do you mean good morning?" I ask.
"You stayed up all night I'm guessing...?"
Turning around to look at my window, I see sunlight coming through.
"Apparently..."
"You need to sleep kid..." Kuroo groaned as he pulled me into a hug. He wrapped his arms around my waist while I put mine around his neck.
He's really warm...
"Don't call me kid just because I'm one year younger than you." I say, shoving my face into his shoulder.
"But look at how short you are Chibi-baby!"
"I'm not that short!"
"Yes you are! Now come on let's go eat something!"
He pulled me off of him and dragged me into the kitchen to make breakfast. I ended up making rice with soup. He washed the dishes for me as I got everything ready at the table.
"Thank you for the meal." We both said before digging in.
We both ate silently for a few minutes before Kuroo asked me some questions.
"Why didn't you sleep today?"
"I was listening to music..." I answer in a slightly shamed tone.
"Were you at least in your bed than on the floor?"
"Yup." I replied, shoving rice into my mouth.
"Good. You need to sleep more though. I'm going to start getting you sleeping pills or something."
"I would LOVE that!"
"I know you would aha."

After eating, we both went to get ready. I took less time to get ready because unlike my brothers hair, mine was easier to handle.
While I was putting on the uniform given to me, I notice that it showed too much of my hips than I'd like it to. I peep my head into Kuroo's room.
"Yo do you know if I'm aloud to wear jackets over the uniform?"
"Shit bro I don't know."
"Hmm...I gonna wear one anyways."
"You do you."
I went back into my room and grabbed the largest jacket I could find. I was going to be needed a lot of comfort for today. I also shoved my nintendo switch in my bag for "entertainment".
A new school...
A few weeks into the year thankfully...
But still, a new school...
Gross.
Walking into the hallway, I hear Kuroo humming something. Oh god it's the Pi song...
"Stop singing your little nerd songs and get ready faster so we can leave and I can get this day over with!" I groan out.
"Hey I don't complain whenever you sing Kpop around the house!"
"But thats because I'm younger so I get more slack~"
"Oh shut up."
Kuroo walked out of his room looking his usual. He pulled out his keys and unlocked the door.
"Are you ready for a new school~?" He asked in a teasing tone.
"It hope it's better than American highschool. Plus I don't know anyone so I'm shitting bricks right now..."
"Oh it is don't worry. I have a friend in your grade too, he'll help you out."
"Since when do you have friends?" I tease.
"Since when do YOU have friends? Your the one who barely moved back here!"
"Okay shit that one kinda hurt!"
"Well that's what you get!"

I was told that we were going to go pick up the friend that Kuroo was talking about. I think he said his name was Kozume Kenma? Something like that...
The weather ended up being colder than we expected. It left my brother's upper body being cold and my legs freezing from the skirt.
"I'll trade you my jacket for your pants." I say, half joking.
"Very funny Y/n...now shut up."
"Rude~"
We made it to Kenma's in a couple of minutes. He seemed to not live that far away from us...
I watched as a blond boy walked out from the front door. Wait...never mind, his hair's bleached. He seemed preoccupied by something in his hands. It was a...SWITCH. ITS A SWITCH. OH SHIT GAMER ALERT!
It wasn't an everyday thing when you find another "gamer" if you will. He had the special edition skin I wanted too!
"Hey Kenma hurry up so I can introduce you to my sister!" Kuroo yelled to the boy.
Kenma looked up from his game and gazed at me. He seemed to study my face for a few seconds before looking to Kuroo and sighed.
"Alright Kenma...introduce yourself!" Kuroo said, doing jazz hands toward me. I hid more in my jacket from embarrassment.
"Oh...umm hi. I'm Kozume Kenma. Nice to meet you." The boy said as he bowed slightly.
"My names Kuroo Y/n... nice to meet you too." I bowed slightly with my response.
"Ahhh my two worlds are colliding~!" Kuroo sighed out.
"What do you mean two worlds? Did you not tell anyone I existed?" I ask, slightly offended.
"I didn't see a reason anyone should know. Plus I have to protect my child from gross older men~" Kuroo answered, wrapping his arms around me while resting his chin on my head.
"Your literally one of those gross older men."
Kenma snickered to my comment. He hid his face in his hair while doing so. I blushed a bit from the fact that someone actually found it funny.
"That's rude Chibi-chan!"
"She's not wrong Kuroo." Kenma said, his composure recuperated.
"Haha he's on mine side! Suck it Tetsu!" I exclaimed, pointing at Kuroo.
"Wha-? That's mean Y/n!" He held his hand up to his chest dramatically.
"I don't care that's what you get! Now escort me to hell!" I said, holding my arms out in a way to signal him to carry me.
"I'm not going to carry you..."
"Awww okay..."

Turning a corner, I finally see the school gates. It was empty though...
"Tetsu. Why is there no one here?"
"Oh...I have practice this morning. I forgot to tell you, sorry"
"Oh it's fine...at least it's empty."
"What? You embarrassed being the new girl~?"
"Oh shut up!" I yell back, punching him in the stomach causing him to lean down holding onto himself.
I was lead around the campus for a bit before we went to the gym. Kuroo said he wanted to show me around first just so I could have a slight understanding of the layout.
We soon made it to the gym. It looked pretty average in my opinion...
"Alright sweety~ You ready to meet the dream team?" Kuroo asked in a teasing tone.
"Yes but if you call me that again I'm going to ignore you for the rest of the week." I pouted, crossing my arms above my chest.
"Uh-...Fine..."
Haha! I knew he would want my attention!
I stood behind Kuroo as he slide the gym doors open, Kenma next to him.
"Hey guys! Good morning!" Kuroo called out.
Looking inside, I see a group of boys. They all looked our way and gave a greeting back.
"Oh hey Kuroo-san! Hey Kenma-san!"I heard someone call out. I saw a grey haired boy begin to walk up to us.
Is he fucking taller than Testu?! AND HES YOUNGER!?
"Hey Lev." Kuroo greeted the boy.
"Oh? Who's this?"
Looking up to the voice, I see the boy known as Lev staring down at me. I felt a chill fall down my back. He looked scary even with his slight baby face...
"Kuroo-san is this your girlfriend or something?" The boy asked, looking at Kuroo once again.
"HUH?!" Everyone inside screamed.
Shook from the sudden noise, I grab onto the back on my brothers shirt.
"No Lev you idiot! She's my sister!" Kuroo yelled out, giving the boy a smack on the head.
"Ow! I'm sorry!"

"Good morning everyone! I'm Kuroo Y/n, a new second year here at Nekoma High. Nice to meet you all!" I said, bowing down to the team after they introduced themselves.
"Yo shes hot..." I heard someone say. I look up with a blush covering my face.
"Yamamoto shut up! That's disrespectful!" I saw who said the next statement. The boy had introduced himself as Yaku Morisuke.
"I'm sorry Y/n-chan! He isn't USUALLY like this." Yaku-san apologized, holding Take-sans head down.
"Ach! Yaku-san!"
"Ahaha it's alright." I replied, rubbing my neck in embarrassment.
I looked around once more at the boys volleyball team. I met eyes with the cat like boy...
He looked away the moment I noticed him.
He's shy huh...
