There was a lot of things Bakugou predicted correctly. One of them was not getting completely buzzed 10 minutes into a party, though.
His workforce group decided to have a small party for the start of the spookiest month of the year. They were all at Mina's, and her house was decked out roof-to-yard in Halloween decorations.
"We'll be having another party on Halloween at Yaoyorozu's, but it'll be with a bunch more people. We want you to come to the one at Mina's, too," Jirou explained a few weeks ago to the heated blond. Bakugou just huffed out a "fine."
Here he was, weeks later drinking anything he could find after he learned that Deku was there.
"It's fine, guys. He's alright," Sero said, lifting up Denki into his arms, "he drank a bit too much. I'll go ahead and take him home. Enjoy the rest of the party!" After they left, everyone went back to yelling and making jokes.
"Hey! Let's play a game!" Mina exclaimed, getting the attention of her other coworkers. "What kind of game?" Deku asked, Todoroki nodding at the question as if he was the one who asked it.
Mina rolled her eyes before grinning, "first game stated is what we choos-" "truth or dare!" Ochaco yelled, Hagakure high-fiving her afterwards as a few people groaned.
The game went around the group, truths asking about childhood embarrassments, dares over kissing, and the likes of other choices. The game soon escalated to "i dare you to give them a lapdance" and "chug 5 shots of" so-and-so liquids.
Bakugou took every dare that came at him, and he ended up doing a handstand for 30 seconds, drinking 3 shots of vodka, and having to strip himself of his shirt.
Apparently it wasn't enough torment.
"Bakugou. Truth or dare?" "Dare, and make it fucking worth it, Voicebox," Bakugou growled, glaring at the purple-haired man. "I dare you to do a demon summoning ritual."
"Shinsou!" Deku and Iida whispered, disappointment on their faces at they stared at the boy with no outward emotions. Shinsou shrugged, "anyway, i have a book over it in my bag."
Reaching over the arm of the couch he was pushed against, he gripped his bag with minimal force and ripped out a deep gray book. "Here. Instructions are on the page after the intro sequence."
"Have you done it before?" Ojiro asked, the girl next to him nodding, "yeah, have you? Kero." Shinsou shook his head "i tried on my first book and failed one of the steps. This is the last book of it's kind, in Japan at least, and will be ruined on use. You need to burn it, after all."
"We're playing with fire? Fuck yeah," Bakugou grinned, snatching the book and heading into the kitchen, "there are stoves in here." At the logical explanation, everyone followed to watch him do the ritual.
They stood around the blond, whose eyes were focused on the few pages he flipped through. "So i just have to say a few phrases listed under the difficulty and burn the book? Isn't that a little too easy?"
Shinsou shrugged, "you get a choice. In the table of contents you get to choose which kind of thing you'll summon. I tried choosing a hard one with an air element, which is probably why i couldn't focus well enough to say the words right."
Nodding, Bakugou flipped through the book. He looked through the different types of elements, choosing one that he fitted with: Fire. He turned to the large section, seeing varying levels of difficulty. He went to the last page of the section.
The last few phrases were clipped onto the impossible demons he could try to summon. He smirked: he may as well give this so-called impossible demon a try, then.
