Chapter 1: Try To Forget

Before there is peace, two leaders shall rise and Shadow will be feared forever...

Blackfoot stared at the cloudless blue sky.

He yawned then walked over to the Nursery where his sister was expecting Wolfstep's kits.

Her tortoeishell fur was neatly groomed like always, and her belly was gently rounded.

Newtspeck was in the nursery too her belly a lot bigger.

Featherstorm was feeding her kits, Mosskit, Volekit and Dawnkit.

Blackfoot hissed at the thought that Blizzardwing had kits.

The cat who pretened to be his father treated him like dirt.

Blizzardwing torn his ear the one time.

He shook his head of those memories.

What happened, happened. Archeye is my real father and everything is ok, try to forget the past.

That would never happen.

Few moons ago Blackfoot fought with a Dark Forest cat named Mapleshade to protect Russetfur.

His mate.

He defeated her, but then died.

Shadow, a StarClan cat the first leader of ShadowClan brought him back to life.

"Morning Fernshade" he purred.

She opened her eyes, and smiled back, "Good morning Blackfoot."

"How are you feeling" he asked.

"Tired, you, Flintfang and Wolfstep keep asking me how are you doing" she raised a brow.

"We're just looking after our little sister" he purred.

"It'll get worst after your kits are born" Feathetstorm said and began washing her kits.

"Blackfoot?" Russetfur called.

He grinned, "gotta go" he said then ran towards his mate.

He ran to her and purred, the sun shone on her dark ginger fur and she just looked beautiful.

"Hello" he said, touching noses with her.

"Morning" she said back.

"Hey guys could you two join Frogtail's patrol please?" Brokentail yowled from the Warriors den.

Brokentail was now deputy. Cloudpelt died from a battle with WindClan.

"Of course!" They said and walked towards Frogtail, Ashheart and Birdfeather.

"Ready?" He asked.

They nodded and headed out.

As Blackfoot walked beside Russetfur a thought came to his mind.

Pebbleheart, another StarClan cat told him that "Before there is peace, two leaders shall rise and Shadow will be feared forever."

What does that mean?
