I'm not even joking when I say. I. Hate. Vampires.
"YOU ARE ACTUALLY JOKING MY ARSE RIGHT NOW OH MY GOODNESS I AM NO WAY IN HELL DOING THIS NOPITY NOPE NOPE" I screamed as blaze threw the dreaded pink dress at me.
"They're my parents, val, they want to see my maids" I threw it back at him and scowled. "I'm not your maid anymore" I stuck my nose in the air and sauntered out into the hallway.

"ITS PINK. ARE YOU DUMB" I heard a thump and Luke trying to calm Clara down.
"Nooooooiioooooo" she ran into the hall, saw me and laughed.
"You have a feather on your cheek" I picked it off and we heard a call.
"Boys! We're here" oh. My. Shit. It's the parents. Kill me now.

"Valerie put on the dress and come downstairs" blaze whispered.
"How many diamonds" I asked. He gave me the 'you decide' glare and flew downstairs along with the rest of them. I looked at Clara and she raised her eyebrows at me.
"If he thinks I'm wearing that he can go think again" I nodded back. Hell to the no.

"Why don't we just find something else?" Clara led me to my wardrobe and we began looking through.
"What the fluff I never owned a BEIGE dress" bloody blaze. Impulse buyer. Finally Clara brought out some better dresses. A gothic black one with a matching choker for me and a pretty casual blue one for her. It looked ok.

Finally we went downstairs.
"MAIDS! You mean to tell me you want to marry human maids?" Pooh dear. Mother in law I suppose.

"Actually we aren't maids. We're people" I was the first to step in and his mother gave me a look. A nasty ass look. Smiling sweetly, I looked to clara, who was staring wide eyed at the mother. Not in fear. But in shock. His mother looked no older than 30. I stared at her lack of wrinkles.

"Hello. I'm Clara. This is Valerie. Nice to meet you. I'm with Luke and she's with blaze. So yeah" Clara quickly explained at the fuming mother. I internally facepalmed. Subtle.

"Valerie. Clara. Come in" luke gestured to two empty seats next to them. I sat by blaze and looked at the floor. Don't do anything stupid, val....

"Mother, I know you don't particularly like humans but they're different. Look at them! Blaze has a bimbo who isn't actually that dumb-" I glared at Luke "and I have a beautiful blonde bombshell" Clara blushed and held in her laughter. And I have fists. I heard Louis giggle sightly from behind me. Shush mindreader.

"I do not care anymore. I don't accept them. You will not have my blessing for your marriage" I stared at the mother. Oh. They had mentioned marriage three times already how did I never notcie...

"Oh no Mrs-blazes-mum we weren't marrying them." They all looked at Clara and I like we were crazy.

"What do you mean? Of course you will" blaze turned his confused stormy gaze on me.
"Considering you nearly killed us like five times and that we only just accepted you I'm going to at least want a proposal and a promise before marriage." He took a while to register this.
"But...thats not how it works. When a vampire claims you you marry. Simple as" his adorable grey eyes searched mine for an answer.
"You know usually people propose before marriage" I noted. He nodded.
"Okkkkkk well good place here than any, yeah" he asked. I gave him the nope glare. He sighed and turned back to his parents.
"Anyway, basically these are our brides" he gestured to us "and you're just going to accept that" blaze smiles at the shocked parents.
"And that concludes our tour thanks sooo much for coming same time next century ok babe buyeee " Louis managed to shove the bewildered parents out of the house, locking the door and coming back to sit beside us.

"Anyway clara, I have some exciting news" I squealed and I'm pretty sure she knew where I was going. "I'm getting married to a dooshe I squealed in fake excitement.

"So am I omg friendship" we high fives then walked off to the kitchen. When in doubt, eat some shit.
