Your POV

I was sat with a group of Hufflepuff's wrapped happily in my boyfriend, Cedric's, tight embrace as he laughed and joked with his friends. You see, Cedric and I had only recently started dating, for about a week to be exact but he was honestly so sweet to me. He had been there for me for years and when my ex-boyfriend cheated on me, he was the one that was there to support me. Over the few months where we grew to be closer, we had started to develop feelings for each other. He asked me on a date last week and of course, I said yes. We went on a picnic and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Honestly, it couldn't have been more perfect.

It was our first time properly acting like a couple whilst around lots of people from the school, normally we just spent time in Cedric's dorm room, but being wrapped in his arms just felt so right.

As I laughed at a joke that Cedric had just made, I locked eyes with the one boy I never wanted to see again. A clear wave of jealousy flooded over his face and he began storming towards Cedric and I. Preparing for whatever was about to happen, I shuffled out of Cedric's warm embrace and whispered into his ear, warning him about who was coming.

"So you guys are like a thing now then?" Draco sarcastically laughed, "Knew I couldn't trust Diggory when you used to tell me you guys were only friends and that's all you would ever be Y/L/N. You're were probably with him before we even broke up, I bet."
"Coming from the one that cheated on me and broke my fucking heart." I spat, "Yes we are dating. Not that it's any of your business Malfoy but he asked me out last week. He's good to me...unlike you."
"So you've just thrown away what we had?" He retorted.
"What did you think would happen Malfoy? You come back after cheating on me three months ago and expect me to be waiting for you." I frowned, getting up and stepping closer to him.

"You come back after months. After Pansy Pugface Parkinson gets bored of you and what? Now suddenly you're asking for it back...Could you tell me, where'd you get the nerve?" I growled, loud enough for heads to turn and cause a scene.
Draco didn't say anything, letting me continue.
"You cheated on me remember Malfoy. It took a while for me to get over you, you know that right? At first, I was in denial...Every single night I was crying, wondering why I wasn't good enough and you know who was there to support me? Cedric was."
I felt Cedric's presence behind me as he had now stood up. He had a hand around my waist as he moved to stand beside me.
"Cedric was the one to listen to me sobbing and screaming into a pillow ever single fucking night because you broke me Malfoy."

Draco went to turn and walk away but I stopped him.
"Now Malfoy! You listen to me."
"Let him go princess, he's not worth it." Cedric whispered in my ear.
"No, the reason he wants to run off is that he's used to getting his own fucking way!" I sarcastically laughed, anger burning through my veins, "I know you well Malfoy when shit doesn't go your way, you don't like it! He expected to have his fun with Pugface and then expect me to come running back to him with open arms. But no! I've found a guy that actually cares about me and I couldn't be happier Malfoy. You could say you miss all that we had. But I don't really care how bad it hurts when you broke me first!"
I looked into Dracos silver eyes and saw them gloss over with tears before he turned and stormed off.

"Come on let's go sit back down." Cedric half-smiled, guiding us back to the group of Hufflepuffs we were sat with.
"Maybe I was a bit harsh but he broke my heart and he just expected me to go running back to him." I shrugged, looking up into Cedric's eyes.
You weren't harsh, the cheater deserved it." Someone shouted and I smiled towards them.
"I'm sorry for making a scene." I sighed.
"Hey, it's fine. You did nothing wrong princess." Cedric smiled, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me in for a kiss.
