"Ate Sela? Ate?? Ate Selaaa???" Someone's calling, knocking at the door.
"Five minutes!!" Sela answered without opening her eyes.
"Ate Sela?" Knocks again. "You awake na po??"
"Wait." Sela suddenly realized it's not her mom's voice, nor her ate's. And vanilla scent fills her nose. A sweet scent that is familiar to her.
Napadilat sya at biglang nanlaki mga mata sa nakita. Saka napatingin sa position nila. She's hugging Abby habang nakasiksik pa dito.
"Oh my god, Abelaaaiinneee!!" Sabay balikwas sa pagkakahiga, hugging herself." How in the hell we are in one bed?! "
She didn't get an answer. Nagiba lang ng position si Abby, still asleep.
She looked around and saw the two lambanas occupying the bed that supposedly, kanya.
"What the-" pilit nya inaalala ano ba nangyare. Pano sya nalipat ni Abby.
After few minutes, naalala nyang she freaked out nga pala nang may makita syang silhouette outside the window, eh nasa third floor sila. Pano yun mangyayare. She was so afraid kaya lumipat sya sa bed ni Abby. Ginising nya pa ito para hayaang syang tumabi.
She face palmed herself remembering the details but her thoughts were interrupted by the voice calling her.
"Ate? Ate Sela??"
"Oh that's Gabb." Sela said. "Wait lang Gabb! I'm up!"
"Okay po."
She jumped out of the bed at mabilis na pumunta ng CR. Nag morning routine then mabilis na pumunta sa may pintuan. Nilingon nya muna ang lahat ng kasama nya, they're all still sleeping soundly.
Took a deep breath, as she holds the door knob. Then opened the door.
There's Gabb, looking at the floor pero nang mapansin nyang nagbukas na ang pinto, napatingin ito sa kanya with a wide smile. "Ateee!!!"
Isinara agad ni Sela ang pinto cautiously.
But the sound of excitement sa boses ni Gabb ay mabilis nawala nang makita na Sela have some scratches.
"Ate Sela? What happened?" Sabay hawak sa arms nito, checking her.
" I'm okay Gabbobi. This is nothing. I'm fine."
"But ate..."
"Something happened lang kagabi. But I'm okay. "
" And ano yung nangyare na yun? "
"Bb Gabb"
"Ate... You have scratches. I'm just.. concern."
"Chill. This is nothing. Okay? "
" Hmmmm" pouting her lips. Pero sumuko na rin sa pagpipilit kay Sela sabihin sa kanya ano nangyare.
"Why are you here pala? What time is it na? Di na kita papasukin ah. Abby's still asleep. "
" It's okay ate. It's too early pa naman. Past 3am palang eh. "Gabb answered." Kaya ako nandito because I'm excited to see you. And Rans told me you're here. Dito ka natulog. "
