Y/N POV

*A few months later*

"NEWT! NEWT!" I screamed. Where the hell could he be? I kicked a rock on the ground and started walking to the homestead.

"THOMAS? GALLY? ALBY? MINHO?" I screamed. No body was there. I checked the med-jack shack.

"Clint? Jeff?" No answer.

"Where is everyone?" I muttered under my breath. I walked back out side. Finally I spotted a mop of hair that i knew all to well.

"Chuck! Where is everyone?" I asked running to him. He turned around.

"Not EVERYONE. Only the keepers silly. The box is comming up today. They are just getting organized." He laughed at my stupidity.

"Ohhh." I mentally smacked myself.

FRRRT. FRRRT. (A/N yes my fail attempt to make the box noises😂)

The box was comming up! I quickly ran to the middle of the glade and ran into Newt.

"OOF." I made a weird noise while ramming onto him.

"Are we gonna do this every time some new greenie comes up?" Newt chuckled and grabbed my cheeks, kissing me.

I laughed. "Hope not because it hurts."

"GUYS. Stop kissing like ewe. My fabulous eyes cant handle it." Minho said and that causes Newt and I to laugh.

Finally the box arrived.

The doors slid open, and as always, there was the confused greenie...but this time it was a girl. I squealed really loudly. Everyones faces turned to look at me.

"Sorry sorry." I chuckled. Newt jumped down like always.

"Welcome greenie. Welcome to the glade." I heard him say. As usual, the shank continuously asked questions.

"Here just come with me. You can meet Y/N the other girl. Then ill tour you around." Newt said.

I noticed the new girl crawl out. She looked pretty weak for the glade. She had long black hair and big brown eyes..she was geourgeous compared to me. The rest of the gladers hooted and howled except Thomas, Alby, Gally and of course Newt.

"Hiya shank! Welcome to the glade." I walked up to her and put my hands in my pockets. Newt noticed and walked next to me. He leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"Your so cute when you try to act cool and put your hands in your pockets." He smiled. I shoved him with my elbow slightly.

"Whatever". I laughed. The new girl looked at us funny. What?

"So uh whats your name?" I asked.

"Hunter." She said with smile, that was clearly fake.

"Uh..I'm Y/N...Newt will give you the tour now I guess." I said awkwardly.

"Well I'll see you at dinner love." He kissed my lips, and his taste lingered there; leaving my lips tingly.

"See ya." I smiled. They walked away.

I couldnt help but get a weird vibe from that Hunter girl.
