(Wow, the update you never expected! This has been in my drafts for like-- 4 months? Wow? So I'm posting. I will be more active now.)
Aight, okay so. This is a request from last chapter.
How to treat your wings during wing growth.I will go through each stage, and what you should do.
Internal Growth-Beginning:
You really shouldn't have to do anything, there would be little to no pain.
Internal Growth-Far In:
This depends on you and how bad the pain is. Right now, if it is minor pain you do not have to do anything. But, if you have anything from moderate to severe pain, I recommend not laying on your back (you should already do this, since the pain would get worse if you lay on your back).
Warm baths and lotions will help the pain.External growth-Wings nubs:
If you have not felt pain, you are going to feel it now. Please do not sleep on your back, you can, but it may cause you unnecessary pain. Be careful when leaning on things, and I recomend taking warm baths. Pretty much the same as the last one. You should be able to move the nubs after a while of having them.
Outward growth:
This stage is basically when it looks like tiny chicken wings on your back, before the feathers. YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL, STOP SLEEPING ON YOUR BACK IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY. This is a fragile faze (it actually depends on how strong/big the little wings are).
You should be able to move them fully, start stretching them now and then to get them stronger. You can lightly bind the wings to your back, but only if you want to.Outward growth-Down Feathers:
This is the stage where you have to be the most careful. It will mostly be down feathers at the time, and if you accidently pull out a feather it may hurt. A lot. (This applies to full grown wings as well).
You could start using bird shampoo to softly wash your wings, but you have to be careful. At this point, you need to bind them onto your back when going out in public. BE. CAREFUL. It could damage your wings if you do not do it correctly.Outward growth- Full Grown Wings:
Now. At this point, you will have full grown wings. Wash your wings with bird shampoo (or other shampoos that you choose, it depends on how your wings react to them).
If they are Fully grown, you will be able to sleep and lean on your back, just do not lean too far. Be careful, make sure to not pull feathers.
