Will I ever be good enough
To make others smile
When times get tough.
To stand in the shadow of doubt
And step into the light, unapologetic.
To hold my ground
And keep ploughing forward.
To speak out
And make a compromise.
To stomp my foot
And shatter the ground.
Will I ever be good enough
To stretch my wings
And fly?
A/N
Broken wings don't flap.
