Eli

After talking to Eddy and Pony, I decided to come to the address they give me, since Mia's with Bella, I might come and talked to Bonnie.

And then I saw a car that's a little familiar parked in the front.

After ringing the doorbell, "Hey Bon, can we talk?"

"Sure." She said

"Long time no see, right?"

"Long time no see." She agreed.

We stopped at the dining room, that's when I see someone hiding under the table.

Okay, so this is who Bella meant by Mia loves a lot, well, she's right, though.

"Ella, you know I can see you, right?"

"Who? You didn't see anyone." She mumbled.

I chuckle, she's really cute.

Bonnie passed me a cup of tea, "Thanks."

Then she bend down and drag Bella out, "Come out, Bella, it's Eli, he's not scary."

"I wasn't angry, or mad." I chuckle as she shift uncomfortably.

She's still really nervous.

"You might want to give her a kiss." Bonnie said to me.

"I'm actually thinking about it." I chuckle as I pulled her into a hug, "Ella, it's fine. I'm not mad and I'm not going to be."

She mumbled something as she went into the living room.

"Aww, young love." Bonnie chuckle, "So what do you want to talk about?"

"You want to spend Thanksgiving with Mia and I?" I asked, last time I talked to Mia, it made me realize that no matter what I do, Mia still needs a mom, and I shouldn't take that away from her.

"I don't know." She sigh,

"Please, it would mean a lot for Mia." I told her, "She still needs a Mom in her life."

"I made mistakes." She sigh

"Who hasn't?" I said to her, "No one's perfect, Bon. The only thing that'll be important is that you learn from your mistakes. Everyone deserves a second chance."

"You sounded a lot like Bella." She smiles, "She just said something similar to me earlier. She's an amazing girl, I see how she treated Mia and how much Mia likes her."

"She been through a lot, it kind of worried me that she worried too much of how people look at her."

"So do you, Elijah." She said, "You worries too much about not being a perfect father for Mia, and you worried about Bella still acts really nervous around you."

"You know me way too well." I sigh, "Why can't she trust me?"

"Give her time, I didn't know her story, but even I can see that she been through a lot. You don't go there with a hammer and trying to break her walls, you wait for her to open the gate, which I'm telling you, she's starting to."

"Thanks." I hug her, "That helps."

"Glad I can." She chuckle,

Bella

I shouldn't be this nervous, I never cared about how people looked at me.

I curl myself up like a ball, hugging my knees as I sits on the ground.

Is there a problem with me? I kept question myself with questions.

Tears streaming down my face, I thought that I fixed myself, I thought I'm strong enough.

Felt like someone pulled me into a hug, didn't even need to ask.

"I'm sorry."

"Ella, it's me, I'm not going to hurt you even if something happened." He kissed my forehead, "I'm here."

Tears are still falling down, as he comfort me, "I don't get it, I thought I fixed myself, why?"

"Well, I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere." He said, "Ella, you're going to be fine."

"They put him behind the bars, he can't hurt me anymore." I mumble, "Why am I still scared?"

"I'm here to be your safe place." He said, "Whenever you're scared, come to me."

"Don't leave me." I said

"Never."

After a few moments, I noticed Bella fell asleep, "Sweet dreams, Ella."

"Stay the night here." Bonnie offers, "It'll be less complicated for you and for her. I have a guest room."

"Thanks." I said as I carried Bella in bridal style, she became lighter since last time I carried her. But to be fair, she had the twin back then.

Bonnie picked Mia up, "She can sleep with me."

"Sure." I said as Bonnie showed me the guest bedroom.

"Whatever happened to her, it definitely crushed her." She said after I came out.

"I know, and I thought I was the one that's not in the shape for a relationship." I joked

She give me a look, "You had your doubts about her."

"Keyword: Had." I told her, "Not anymore."

"I know, it just that relationship are way more complicated then you thought." She said, "I'm just going to take a wild guess, she had been in a toxic relationship."

"Yeah." I sigh, "Remember when we saw her back then?"

"Yeah, she used to remind you of Lizzy." She chuckled, "You needed to be patient Eli, you can't expect to knockdown everything with a hammer, and hope she's fine."

"I know."

"And whenever you need help babysitting Mia, called me because I think it's time I came back into her life. I'll looked for a place in the town, so it'll be better for us and Mia."

"Thanks, Mia's going to go banana after she heard that." I chuckle as I imagine her reaction.
