Roman's POV
I stood there leaning on the front of my car. I couldn't stop smiling! After last night, I've had this burst of adrenaline. It felt like everything will go my way. I guess that's what love can do to you.
Because of that feeling, I'm standing here in front of Virgil's apartment. Why? You may ask. Why not? This little ball of darkness is probably my soulmate. Not probably. Surely!
I checked my phone only to see it turn to 7 AM sharp. Virgil should be coming out soon.

No, not that kind of coming out. I held my jacket in one hand, ready to give to Virgil, and my phone in the other. My phone dinged and before I could look at it, I heard the elevator arrive at the first floor.
I quickly put my phone away in my pocket and tried to act like I was always standing there just casually waiting. I put a grin on my face and saw Virgil come walking out. He stood there and his eyes widened.
Oh no. Should I not have done this? I didn't let the stress show on my face and just waved at him.
"Hey, Virge!"
Virgil immediately when back to his normal self. Almost as if he snapped out of it. He threw up a one finger salute that was soooo adorable. He looked both ways before going across the crosswalk to get to my car.
"Is that for me?" Virgil asked as he pointed at the jacket that was draped on my arm.
I nodded quickly and gave it to him. Virgil took it slowly. He didn't put it on, just held it. He scratched his head.
"So... what are you doing here?" His head tilted slightly.
I perked up to answer him. "Dunno. Just thought it'd be fun if I gave you a ride to school." I gave him my signature grin. I felt sort of nervous, so it probably looked a bit crooked. I used my thumb to point behind me. "Y'know. I could go if you want." I teased.
"No, no, no! Just asking." Virgil looked down at his shoes. Clearly a bit nervous. "You're not... weirded out?"
I was surprised by the question. "Why would I be weirded out?"
He shrugged. "Maybe because I kissed you without asking?" Virgil continued to stare at his shoes as if they were the most interesting thing in the world. Clearly, they aren't. Because I'm standing right here.
I grabbed his shoulder and rested my hand on it. "C'mon, Virge. If I were weirded out, you wouldn't be seeing me right now. If anything, I'm elated! The cutest boy in the world kissed me. Nothing could be better than that."
Virgil's face softened and gave me a small smile. "Thanks, Princey." He gave me a small toothy grin. Have I said he's adorable?
"C'mere, storm cloud." I grabbed him so he'd stand on the side of me and wrapped my arm around him. Virgil put his head in the crook of my neck, and we stood there for a while. "You're the coolest."
"Yessir."
"So proper?"
Waking us from our moment of bliss, the alarm on my phone went off. I grabbed it out of my pocket with the hand that wasn't around Virgil.
