The Morning Of

Victoria Stone was reluctant to love another person ever again, and that was a fact proven by many.

The morning is hazy. Victoria has been unwillingly awoken by none other than her twin brother's black cat. The cat licks her soft pale cheek with its sandpaper tongue. Without hesitation, Victoria man-handles the bothersome cat and hauls it across her dark room.

"Damn't Frankenstein."

The cat waddles to the corner in retaliation, leaving Victoria early awoken. She stretches and removes her thick comforter revealing her skinny and bruised legs that become noticeable as her eyes adjust to the dark.

She sighs at the sight.

She drags herself up and out of bed stumbling towards her door. She opens it slowly with her left hand, her right hand grasping her crotch as she tried not to pee. Dizzy, Victoria catches herself on the nearest wall.

Recovering from the fuzzy head rush, Victoria stands up straight and glides her feet on the floor making her way to the bathroom door. A light glows under the door insinuating it was occupied.

She carelessly pounds on it and cringes at the fact that her parents may still be home and asleep. She wiggles the doorknob. Locked.

"Damn't Victor, Hurry up!" She harshly whispers through her teeth.

She patiently and more quietly knocks on the door.

No response.

She gets on all fours, faced down towards the crack under the door. "Victor fucking Stone." She harshly whispers. "If you don't hurry up in 30 seconds, I'm gonna-"

She see's a shadow approach from under the door.

She's cut off by the sound of the door unlocking. The knob slowly turns and the door pulls open with caution.

Her face meets a pair of Mary-Jane heels. She looks up with a scornful face knowing exactly who stood before her. Her face plunges with utter embarrassment. Alice Lennon. Victoria's ex-best friend and now brother's girlfriend.

Alice's sour face smirks down at Victoria with a pinch of disgust. Alice brushes passed her practically leaping toward's Victor's room.

Standing up, Victoria brushes herself off while still eye-balling the girl who dared show herself that early in the morning. Finally entering the bathroom, Victoria is met with the strong scent of Alice's Chanel perfume. Disgusting.

After finally relieving herself, Victoria flushes and shuffles toward the mirror releasing a hoarse sigh. She lifts up her over-sized shirt revealing her very visible ribs.

After measuring her wrists and waist as the doctor had ordered, Victoria returns to her room sluggishly. To no surprise, the cat rests upon her pillow once more. She plops down on a pillow furthest from the feline. The cat lived up to its name just barely. Frankenstein. Its ginger fur around its eye, its prosthetic back right leg and its snagged tooth brought the creature alive. Victoria would always try to get it through Victor's thick skull that Frankenstein was the scientists name.. Not the monsters name.

"' The Monster ' is the monsters name, dumb ass!"

"Like I give a shit skin and bones, who's cat is it again?"

She turns to the cat and her eye lids grow heavy. She dozes into a peaceful rest which lasts only twenty minutes. She had been awoken once more. Not by the cat licking her face, but by the muffled bursts of pleasure being released from Alice's mouth accompanied by the banging of the backboard of Victors bed.

Unfortunately, Victoria was use to this.

She was reluctant to love for many reasons. Her brother being a mild portion in her reasoning.

Sickening.

School starts about an hour post to her second awakening. She sits up and takes it as a sign to get ready for her day. She slides out of her bed and meets the cold-wooden floor on all fours. With her eyes still adjusting to the dark, she crawls to the right of her bed meeting the rug just before her dresser. She stands up and flicks on her vanity.

She stares at herself and zones out slowly leaning side to side without realization.

Victor and Victoria were just barely identical. Their pasty skin turned snowy white in the sun. Their big hazel eyes were complimented by long, dark full rows of eyelashes. A natural tint of light purple surrounded their eyes. Their cheekbones were so defined that they withheld a desirable contour. Victor had paper slit lips, while Victoria's (as skinny as she was) were very plump and full. The two main differential traits was their hair, masculinities, weight, size and genitals. (It was just definitely obvious that they were twins.) Victor's dark brown hair was split down the middle, while Victoria's shiny black hair had barely met her shoulders.

Victoria refused to have brown hair.

Nonetheless, they were undeniably beautiful. Due to their perfect physique, the most the twins had to do was dress nice to look presentable. Though, another down side to Victoria's condition was that it was rather hard to find clothes in her size.

She owned a few pairs of scissors and a million different sewing kits. Her sewing machine was her best friend. Cutting and sewing. Cutting and sewing. That was a small part of Victoria's life. The kids section and a few other stores supplied well fitting shirts. She fixed her jeans, pants, joggers, shorts, skirts and a few pairs of leggings. The list goes on. Being 5'3 helped her situation no more.

As for victor, as said before, he has big hazel eyes with beautiful eyelashes. He stood at about 5'9 and was built of pure muscle. He went to the gym almost everyday after school to avoid homework. I guess it worked for his benefit one way or another. He was still passing school somehow.

While in the womb, the nutrients were unfairly distributed among the two siblings. This left Victoria being fed through tubes half her life and the two being born prematurely. Growing up, it was rather difficult for Victoria to grow and appetite.

With that said, I guess you can tell who got the shitty end of the stick.

Victoria envied her brother's capability of gaining weight and muscle. Victoria was unfortunately vulnerable to gaining weight.

Therapy and pediatric visits were just another addition to her illness. She was diagnosed at the age of two.

But God how she hated therapy.

As Victoria releases herself from her gaze she collapses to the floor sprawling into fetal position. Someone barges into her room with no warning or knock.

Peeping up, her position transitions into a straddle.

"What up Tor!" A familiar voice bursts in excitement. A glowing face reveals fully as they approach the light of her vanity. It's none other than her best friend, Johnny Bradford.

"What the hell you geek!" Victoria shrieks as she throws the nearest object at him.

A small stuffed elephant bounces off of his chest and into his hands. He walks to her bed with pride as she helplessly tries to stand up. She glares at him in annoyance as he plops onto her bed crossing his legs, now fiddling with the toy elephants tail.

Victoria rushes to shut the door, shutting it ever so quietly just so she wouldn't anger herself.

"Gosh you piss me off dude! I nearly had a heart attack!"

She turns and walks back towards her dresser. She fixes the rug she had fallen onto with her feet. A smirk grows on Johnny's lips ever so slightly looking her way.

She opens her dresser drawer and sifts through the assortment of clothes. She pulls out a heavy black zip-up hoodie and a tie-dye skirt that fell to her toes.  Turning towards Johnny dropping the clothes to the floor, she motions for him to turn around. Reluctantly he does.

"Ain't nothin' I haven't seen before sugar."

"Oh piss off, munch." She smirks taking off her shirt.

Though they had dated all Sophomore and Junior year, Victoria still held her modesty.

now getting dressed, Victoria continues. "Didn't expect you to barge in like that." Johnny still turned around, he chuckles now examining the elephant she had thrown at him.

"I got you this Sophomore year," he says through his giggles. "And I usually come at this time, Victoria. For I am the prince who is allowed to welcome myself into the Stone Manor as I please!"

"Yeah, yeah munch, my parents love you," Victoria scoffs. "And yeah... you did get me that huh?"

Now dressed, Victoria shuffles over towards the bed and leaps onto his back placing her chin on his shoulder and her arms on either side of his , taking hold of this elephant over his hands. She whiffs his cologne and gets butterflies. Adoration flutters in her heart.

Ironic huh." She huffs.

Johnny adjusts himself moving Victoria to face him. He places the elephant in her hand and stares her in the eyes with a sorrowful look.

"My skinny little elephant," He  said in his Yoda voice. "You have not any meat on those bones young Padawan."

He joked with her in this type of way constantly. She didn't mind.

She slaps away his hands taking full custody of the elephant. She looks at it then plops it to the side of Johnny with no thought about it afterwards. What an analogy you goon. She thinks to herself.

Johnny pushes himself off of the bed and approaches her turning her around bringing in an embrace. He places a kiss upon her forehead and then says in his now Prince Charming impression, "Time to brush your hair and get your bag princess, your carriage awaits." Victoria groans as she scans for her bag brushing her hair with her bony fingers.

"Alice is here." She whispers. "Her and Victor.. They were-"

She gets cut off by Johnny making vulgar suggestions and monkey noises. Suddenly she couldn't smell his cologne. Just pure jealousy.

Johnny was 6'1, had piercing blue-grey eyes, tan skin, dirty blonde hair, straight white teeth and a sharp jawline that had a small noticeable beauty mark placed about it. As fit as he was, Alice still chose the dead-looking twin of Victoria over him.

As for Alice, she was 5'5, had bright blue eyes, fair skin, a pinched nose, blonde hair, and curves. She embodied every girl Victoria had grown to hate.

Johnny developed feelings for Alice a little towards the end of Victoria and his relationship. Victoria was left to believe Alice was the reason why he caught feelings. Flirting, texting and hanging out with him in secret. They were both at fault... Though Victoria just somehow brought herself to forgive Johnny in time.

Alice was never supportive of Victoria's sickness. She grew annoyed with it really.  She gossiped to people about it, talked about her own insecurities with Victoria, (even though she had a body to DIE for) made uncanny jokes to Victoria knowing they bothered her. This was the main reason leading to Victoria's ending to their friendship.

Meanwhile, a little after their friendship non-verbally ending in agreement, Alice had started dating victor.

How could you not hate the bitch.
