chapter sixteen

third person's pov

violet, keiko, yusuke and kuwabara went to the small forest where violet finds her peace. as soon as they got there, they were most likely begging violet to show her powers to see if it's compare to theirs.

violet was amazed by kuwabara's spirit sword since it's also made of a lightning but she thinks that, that sword is more powerful than hers and yusuke just aimed a small yet strong spirit gun at the sky while keiko is just watching the three of them show their powers.

violet took a deep breath and raised her right arm as if it's getting something from above the sky and one swift moment a lightning strucked violet's hands. her eyes became a shiny lilac as she gets her powers from the lightning that sent the three of her companion to move back. yusuke is protecting keiko to not get hurt by my powers.

as violet gathered all the lightning that she needed, she took a step back away from her friends and keiko and aiming at the five huge trees ahead of her.

"lightning dazzle!" violet screamed and shot the ball of lightning from her hands and with that, all the trees had fallen down. yusuke, kuwabara and keiko were shocked at how powerful violet's lightning is. they couldn't believe in their eyes that keiko's sister has a supernatural power.

keiko ran towards violet and she hugged her. "are you okay?" keiko asked and violet just chuckled at her sister. "of course i am"

"woah, that was the coolest shit i've ever seen from a human girl. maybe, keiko has some secret powers too." yusuke exclaimed as she put his arms around me and rubbed the top of head making my hair a lot more messier.

"now, i don't feel like messing up with you ever again." kuwabara said and violet could sensed him trembling with what he just witnessed.

"why didn't you tell us before that you have powers? you could've been our fifth member!" yusuke said.

"well, i just don't feel like telling you guys and even keiko." violet stated as she looked over at keiko. the four of them started to walk back to the nearby park.

"i'm sorry that i haven't tell you guys about this. i have reasons but i just don't feel like sharing at the moment. also, i feel like at first you guys wouldn't believe me but of course i'll explain to you guys why i have such powers for now i just wanted to have some normal days." violet said and gave them an assuring smile.

"whatever! but you should come with us often, for sure our other friends would like to meet you as well and even grandma and you should give yourself a break from school, you're more of a brainer than keiko." yusuke said with enthusiasm in his tone.

"agreed. i feel like you always like to spend your time alone that's why you're a loner." keiko said which violet thinks that it's somewhat true since she's focused on finding a way on how she would he able to find youko.

"so are you joining our squad?" kuwabara asked placing his hands over violet's head which she quickly smacked.

"of course! duh, it's not like i have other choices you know and i feel like wanting to vibe with your friends too." violet exclaimed that made keiko to clapped her hands with happiness.

violet never felt this happiness with people before since she doesn't have friends back in the demon world. it's like a happiness of finally having friends who she could always count with. even though she haven't found youko yet, she's already enjoying this journey.

will they be the way to help her find the love of her life?

as they were joking around, the blue haired girl appeared infront of them holding a milkshake in her hands.

"why didn't you tell me, you guys were hanging out?" the blue haired girl, botan asked looking a little sad.

"i thought you're going back to the spirit world for awhile that's why i didn't bother looking for you." yusuke explained giving her a 'whatever' look.

botan's eyes landed onto violet and she quickly became cheerful which made yusuke and kuwabara confused.

"oh you must be yukimura's sister! you're violet right?" botan said as she approached violet and came to hug her.

"uh" was all violet said and she looked a little flustered.

"oh my, i haven't introduced myself first." botan excused.

"she must be an awful friendly type of a girl huh?" kuwabara whispered to yusuke and keiko.

"sure she is." yusuke and keiko said in unison.

"i am botan, it's so nice finally meeting you, yukimura violet. i've heard a lot about you." botan said as she extended her right arm in able for her and violet to shake hands.

"it's nice to meet you, botan." violet said and bowed at her. she went to glanced over to keiko giving her a look to explain how did botan already knew her name.

"well, i told her i have a sister which also happened to be my cousin and she's been dying to meet you ever since i told her that you sort of have healing powers." keiko explained.

"well, i must be kind of famous huh?" violet joked and they all laughed along.

"so what really brought you here, botan? don't tell me-" yusuke was cutted off by botan, "yes you do have a new mission." botan said as she gave yusuke a puppy dog eyes and a 👉🏼👈🏼.

"oh give me a break." yusuke exclaimed as he scratched the back of his head.

"lord koenma said that it's really an important mission but it seems that he couldn't figure it out yet but be sure to keep yourself safe especially you yukimura sisters." botan explained.

"oh you don't need to worry about us." violet said but soon regretted it since she revealed herself again.

"huh?" botan gave them a questioning look.

"my sister kind of have strong powers too." keiko was the one who explained and botan was still confused.

"how can that be possible?" botan asked and they all shrugged their shoulders except for violet.

"i still haven't tell anyone yet." violet simply said.

"so that means you're part of the team now." botan demanded but all of them laughed making botan confused again.

"she already is." yusuke said as he smacked her side that made her pushed yusuke a little hard.

from this day, violet finally joined her sister's friend and she hoped that they'll be able to help her one day. for now, she's happy that she gained a new friend. happiness couldn't seem to wash away in her.
