I woke the next morning to the sound of rain. Waking up to rain always makes me smile. I was startled for a second when I woke up to find Jimin curled up next to me, but then remembered. This is a nice way to wake up.

He was facing me, completely out cold. I was also laid on my side, facing him. Maybe a foot apart. I will have to admit, for sake of honesty, that he is quite pretty. He's got this soft and innocent look that's always on his face, sleeping or awake.

He moved a bit, rolling from his side to his stomach. I decided that it couldn't hurt to sleep a bit longer. So, I closed my eyes again and just laid there, listening to the sounds of the rain on the window.

He was sleeping in this hoodie that was quite a few sizes bigger than him, and it looked old. I think it's his brother's. There's a small name embroidered on the chest that isn't his, but the last name on the back is the same.

I've been trying to teach myself to sleep later on weekends. My body needs it.

"Shit—" I heard come out of Jimin's mouth, before seeing him roll over. My mind went into reflex mode and I reached out, grabbing his arm before he could roll off the side of the bed. He steadied himself and then quickly sped to his feet. Wait. I thought he slept on the other side...?

"You good?" I laughed.

He looked back and forth a few times then put his head in his hands, sighing, "I forgot, sorry. I used to have this tendency to just crawl into my parent's bed at night without realizing it. I thought I'd did that to you."

"Oh, haha, no you're all good." He sat back down on the side of my bed, cross-legged. He rubbed his face with his sleeves.

"Did I keep you up at all?"

"Nope, I actually slept pretty good. I've just been laying here for a while. How'd you sleep."

"Pretty good, myself. I'll be honest, I haven't really slept well since I got here. I usually have to knock myself out with sleeping pills but I don't have any right now."

"Aw, dang. Insomnia?"

"I guess, yeah."

I sat up and leaned against the wall. Neither of us spoke for a while. He hung his head back in his hands, seeming to want to go back to bed.

"I'm gonna go shower," I said. I like to shower on weekends because I can be as long as I want. I police myself a lot during the weekdays on how long I can do specific things when I know there's things to be done.

"You know what, I may as well, too." He shrugged and forced himself out of my bed and onto his feet, "I feel like death. My head is pounding."

He and I both grabbed a towel, change of clothes, and toiletries and headed off down the hallway. One thing that's important to note for college, is that you should always have shower sandals. Never go barefoot in the shower. You will get at minimum of eight diseases if you don't.
