After breakfast, Clay called for church again. They needed to deal with the aggressive rival gang, Muerta Encarnada, and fast so everyone could get back to their lives. "They only respond to violence, though!" Juice exclaimed as they sat around the cherry oak table in their chapel. Opie nodded his head in agreement as he stared at the reaper carved into their table. They had tried talking with the gang, tried to reason with them, and even tried being nice and offering to let them settle in Charming if they kept the drugs out. They had always been received with hostility and violence.

"Then if violence is what they respond to, it's violence they'll get. Let's show them who they're fucking with." Clay looked around at all his brothers.

"Things are about to get very bloody in Charming, aren't they?" Jax sighed.

"If this is the way they want it, yes." Clay retorted, "What say the rest of you?"

"We're all in danger as long as they're in Charming. We've tried everything else and they've responded to nothing." Bobby started out with a sigh, "If we have to resort to violence to end things, so be it. I've got gigs to get to and I'd like to get back to my home so I can do some baking."

Clay decided to take a vote. All but Ratboy agreed on taking the violent road to solve their problem. Jax knew Tara was going to hate what they had to do but also knew he had to do something to keep his family safe. Gemma didn't care what they did as long as they'd be able to lift the lockdown soon. With their decision made, Clay then brought up how to take care of their problem. It took over an hour to decide how best to deal with their issue before they came to a solution that all were happy with.

Clay slammed the gavel down and everyone began filtering out of the chapel. Happy's eyes looked around and found Isis sitting with Gemma chatting away like old friends. Her two girls were sitting on the couch with their laptops and schoolbooks doing their school stuff. Tara was playing with the two boys. They were all having to head out but he wanted to talk to Isis. To tell her to be safe and not go anywhere until they returned. He was sure she wouldn't actually go anywhere, especially with the threat to her children still there.

With one last look at her, he left the clubhouse and headed to his bike. Most of his brothers were already there strapping on their helmets and mounting their bikes. This was a dangerous mission they were going on. It was uncertain if any of them would get hurt or not. He shook his head trying to get his head back "in the game". The club needed him. Needed his ability to think straight and be merciless. He straddled his bike and then followed his brothers to their destination.

Gemma and Isis just sat together talking about this and that. The Queen had explained all about the club, the meaning of the crow tattoos, what it meant to be an 'ol lady to one of the members, the crow eaters, and how things were run around the clubhouse. Isis was shocked to discover her first husband, and Jax's father, had died on her. "I wish my ex was dead." Isis retorted making Gemma just shake her head.

They talked of John Teller and of Nicolai, of how Isis and Nicolai had come to be a couple, and all about her troubled marriage. It was a bit shocking to hear how badly Isis had been treated by her ex and how he could just be so cold towards his own children. Isis shrugged and told her it was his loss. His own children despised him because of the way he treats them and her and she wasn't going to try and force them to love their father simply because he was their father. Gemma just shook her head in understanding. She was glad that John had at least loved her and their two boys before he'd died.

"I know I've asked if you'd get into another relationship but I can't help but notice what an excellent 'ol lady you'd make around here." Gemma stated making Isis choke on the coffee she was drinking.

Gemma smirked as Isis coughed and wiped her face.

"I think you're mistaking me for someone else." Isis retorted.

"Nonsense! You don't take anyone's shit, you stick up for yourself and your family, you're very family-oriented, you're actually helpful and knowledgeable. On top of not acting like you're better than everyone else and looking down on the club." Gemma stated as she looked over at Tara making Isis look over at her as well.

"If you say so." Isis shrugged.

"There's plenty of men in this club who could use a woman like you." Gemma stated making Isis' face turn bright red, "What? I'm being truthful. Behind every great man is a greater woman."

"True. But I don't think I'm ready for all that. Besides, like I said before, any man I get involved with would have to be pretty amazing. And he'd have to like my kids too." Isis shrugged again.

"Fair enough." Gemma said, "I'll drop the subject of your love life. For now."

Isis just shook her head as the happy squeals of Thomas could be heard before he began running around the clubhouse with Tara chasing him. Abel sat on the floor playing with his trucks. Gemma watched her grandsons with a smile. Ashanti and Leia were nose-deep in their schoolwork and not paying attention to anything around them. The prospects began cleaning the clubhouse since there was nothing else for them to do.

Hours had passed and suddenly the rumbling of many motorcycles could be heard. Isis' heart began to beat faster and she didn't understand why. It's not like the insanely hot, tattooed biker would ever want to get involved with someone like her. Someone who already had two kids and a crazy ex who wouldn't leave her alone. The doors were thrown open making everyone look over to the group stumbling in. Chibs was helping Happy to walk so Isis immediately got up to help.

"Lay on tha table, Hap." Chibs commanded, "Off wit yer shirt. Lass, I need yer 'elp. Put yer 'ands over 'is wound an keep pressure on it while I get my med kit." Chibs stated.

Happy groaned as he took his bloody shirt off and tossed it on the pool table next to him. Isis stood above him and pressed her hands to the bleeding wound on his chest. 'What in the fuck happened while they were gone?' she wondered. Clay had helped Jax hobble inside while Bobby was helping Opie. "Welcome to the club life." Tara stated as she walked by Isis. The raven-headed woman rolled her eyes before looking down at Happy. He was just staring at her as she held her hands to his chest.

"You're going to be alright." She told him earning a half-smile in return.

He mumbled something incoherent before closing his eyes.

"NO! No, no, no. Open your eyes, Happy." She commanded him making him reluctantly do as she said, "That's better. Keep 'em open for me. What happened?"

"We were in the middle of what we'd gone to do when several of their members came back from a run somewhere. We got into a pretty gnarly fight." He explained without giving any real info away, "They look a lot worse than we do, though, so don't fret over us."

"Aye, keep 'im talking, lass." Chibs told her as he returned with his med kit, "I gotta dig the bullet out o' ya. Then I'll stitch ya up."

"It must've been hard riding back to the clubhouse with a bullet wound in your chest." Isis stated.

"You're a smart woman." Happy tried to joke but wound up groaning as Chibs took a pair of tweezers to dig in his chest for the bullet.

"Glad you made it back in relatively one piece." She smiled at him.

"Me too." Happy retorted.

"Can ya put pressure on 'is wound again fer me?" Chibs asked.

She nodded as she pressed her hands over the wound on his chest. Happy just stared at her face as she looked over his chest and stomach looking at some of his tattoos.

"You're gonna have to tell me about some of your tats when you get to feeling better." She told him.

"Only if you tell me about some of yours." Happy stated.

"It's a deal." She said before Chibs asked her to move her hands.

She watched as the medic began stitching up Happy's chest wound. The killer was surprised that all this didn't seem to phase her one bit.

"How are your girls doing?" Happy suddenly asked.

She looked over at them to see the pair watching everything around them.

"I'm sure they have questions but they seem to be doing ok." Isis told him.

"Ye've been a big 'elp, Isis. Thanks fer lending me yer 'ands." Chibs told her as he finished stitching Happy up.

"My pleasure." She looked down and winked at Happy making him smile up at her, "Besides, I couldn't just let him bleed to death on the pool table. What kind of guest would I be?"

"Lass, you're family now." Chibs chuckled.

A/N: Was that Happy flirting with Isis or was it just because of pain and blood loss? O.O
