Turning to face her, he pushed her back to the wall. Eyes started to lid as he leaned in for a kiss. Lips almost touching. Her emotions changed from her normal vonerable and innocent, to strong and knowledgeable. Pushing him away from her. She took off not looking back only forward. He stood there as a dark smile dance on his lips. 'I choose you~' A dark playful thought playing in his mind.
Walking out with a sigh the blonde wanted to talk to the girl he dueled. There was something different about her. True she wasn't the first one he'd seen that could do that. But, she was different -different- and he wanted to know whom her shadow was. "She's nothing special." A jester like shadowy voice echoed in his head. Out of the corner of his eye, he looked at his shadowy companion. "He says this, yet he hides in the shadows." Speaking to the shadowy companion. Gaining a few looks. Not caring what they thought he walked on.
He neared the school gate when he saw her. -He hoped to see her sooner- She was running, but the way she was running had a rage to it. He opened his mouth to ask her what had got to her. But, she was already to far. "Dang~ for a petite girl she runs fast." Admiring the gone figure.
"Look where she ran from." The companion pointed out. "It's our good friend." Using the corner of his eye again to look. He did heard the awful sarcasm the voice used about their 'friend.'
'Isn't that Kauro.' The blonde used the link the two have this time. "It is, he looks really pleased with himself." The blonde looked back to where Mareo ran off to. 'Sanura-chan?'
"By the look in his eyes he didn't exactlly get what he wanted. Yet it looks like he did."
Nodding his head, he turned out of the gate. To where he lived continuing to walk home there wasn't much he could do. His shadow was just a jester after all.
Finally reaching home the girl opened the door to her house. She lived alone having most of her Japanese relatives diseased or unable to care for the girl. Though monthlyish she would get a gift of money to help her living expenses. She hardly used them though, but was greatful that they did this. Unlike her other side of the family. Her Egyptian haritege. That side of the family hardly wanted anything to do with her. Or at least most of them. She got this house from one of them. She thinks.
Entering the house the girl stumbled into the living room. Her head was light, her body feeling heavy. Looking around she was stunned. She wasn't behind the school building. Putting a hand on her head she tried to remember. "I blacked out.....I blacked out. B-But, I wasn't scared or anything. I-I-I..."
A pout like sound was heard. It didn't come from her and if she remembers correctly she did lock the doors into the house. So who/how made the sound?
"W-Who's there?" She stuttered. Her heart pounded hard and quick. Her breathing shallow and light. "So~" The voice brought out the word. "You can finally hear me. Can you see me, as well?" She wouldn't know it, but, the owner of the voice leaned in close to her.
"Where are you?" Her voice quivered. "I'll take that as a no." The bored tone ehcoed. "You might not be able to see me for another while." The voice echoed. "Who are you?" Sanrua called again, only not to be answered. She ate dinner and went straight to bed. With all the weird things that happened today she needed sleep. Ploping on her bed it didn't take long for her to sleep.
"I am the Shadow Empress, mother to the Shadow monsters. You child are my being to help keep me here. Your grey eyes came from my half of the soul you hold. I have watched you grow, like I watched her. Sleep well, your birthday is soon. Then you shall see me."
Sanura's shadow watched over her like she always had.
