5 months-ish later
Harry pushed his husband's head off his lap.
"You're heavy." He whined.
"Mgh."
"I'm sirius Dray, move."
"Okay." Draco rolled his head slightly to the right. He just laughed.
"So." He started. "What do you think about Teddy?" Draco's sleepy eyes moved to his and seemed to clear.
"What do you mean? We've looked after him for five months. You'd think if i didn't like him I would have said before."
"No, I mean, about possibly adopting him?" His voice went up an octave from nerves.
"I mean, i've just been thinking about it, he needs a family right? You don't have to say yes if you don't want to. He's just a really nice-" he cut himself off, partly because of Draco's adorable smile, and because he realised he had been rambling.
"You're cute when you're nervous." Was all Draco said, twisting a piece of Harry's hair around his fingers.
"So?"
"If you want to adopt him, I'm all for it.""Come on Ted!" He yelled to the little boy supposedly getting ready.
"One second Papi!" His heart felt like melting every time Teddy called him that. But whenever Ted said something like that, he had to shut out that voice in his head.
Malfoy's aren't 'Papis!' Potter. Not Malfoy. Potter. He was a Potter. And loving every minute of it.
"Are we going to ask Ted tonight?" Came Harry's voice from the corridor.
"Yeah. I think it would be best.""Awww, you always win!" He groaned at the 7 year old.
"Of course I do, Papi! I'm the best!"
"You sure are Ted." He said, ruffling the boy's hair. He loved Teddy's smile. All teeth and excitement. They were on the train riding to a restaurant. Teddy wasn't old enough to aparaite yet, so they had to take the train every time he wanted to go anywhere. Harry was sitting next to him one arm casually draped around him, but hard enough for anyone else to know he wasn't just a friend. He was reading some jumbo about the bakery that he could never understand. Draco's eyes drifted to a man sitting about 6 meters away. He saw the man look at him, and felt his shoulders stiffen.
"How could they...public...fags." Was all he caught from the man's sentence. His brain flashed red, and he stood.
"What did you just say?" The man's face looked scared for one second before he stood as well.
"I was saying to my girlfriend," he said like it was some instant pass to greatness.
"That you should get off this bus before you spread." He stared at the man stunned.
"What? We'll spread being gay?" The man flinched at the word, and he let out a dry laugh. Everyone was staring now. But he didn't care.
"My sexuality, isn't a disease."
"Well," the man said, not backing down. "Just get out." Harry was staring, griping Teddy tightly.
'No' he mouthed towards him. 'Stop. Just sit down.'
"I feel bad for your kid," the stupid man just kept talking.
"Living with your, your lifestyle." He spat.
"How dare you," he said, advancing towards the now cowering man. He was a lot taller than the man and he seemed to be scared for his life. Good. He should be.
"How dare you come into my life, and talk bullshit about my family. I'm sad for any of your kids. What happens if they're gay? What will you do then?" Draco spotted a camera pointed at him. And Teddy hiding in Harry's arm. But the man was still talking. Even while looking so white he could be a ghost.
"Then I would tell them to, to, well," he resolved, "None of my kids would ever be a fag." Draco nearly punched him. But instead he turned around and pulled his makeshift, but perfect family towards the door. Before stepping out he turned aback to the man.
"Don't you ever, say that word again." He stepped out of the bus and walked as fast as he could. Resisting the urge to turn around and Avada Kedavra him to Uranus.I love these photos.
Have a great day guys! Next chapter coming soon.
