It was my last day in the hospital wing, I was so excited to leave. It was so boring there, nothing to do all day. My cuts and bruises had almost fully healed, leaving a faint scar across the corner of my eyebrow.
I woke up to the bright light shining through the windows, birds chirping from outside. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, stretching my arms and yawning. I ate some breakfast and placed the tray beside me. I placed my feet on the ground. still sitting on my bed as my feet instantly got cold from the stone floor.
Harry walked in with a big smile, "hey Athelina, how are you today?" He asked coming around to sit next to me.
"Yeah, I'm great, I just can't wait to get out of this hospital wing. It's so boring here." I giggled looking up at harry.
"Well I spoke to madame Pomphrey and she said she would examine you today, if you're well enough you can leave today instead of tomorrow." He said smiling.
"Oh, that's great!" I said getting all excited.
As me and harry were talking away about random things Draco walked into the room.
"Hey, Athe- "He stopped mid-sentence when he saw harry. His happy expression instantly turned sour.
"Oh, hey Draco." I happily said smiling at him.
"What the hell are you doing here Malfoy, and why aren't you mad at him," Harry stressed, looking at Draco and then quickly jerking his head back to mine.
"What do you mean...?" I asked now very confused about this entire situation.
Harry looked at me astonished, blinking a couple of times before lightly shaking his head.
"Have you met Draco before?" I asked harry.
"I've known him ever since I first arrived at Hogwarts, the same for you. That's why you're in the hospital wing. Don't you remember anything?" He asks completely forgetting Draco was still in the room.
"He... What?" I asked, my head started hurting again, all of a sudden, a bright flash came out of nowhere.
I was starting to remember what had happened, but only barely.
"The last thing I remember is that... well we were in the great hall. I'm not sure why" I said rubbing my head.
"You need to leave right now I swear to god Draco," Harry said now standing up from the bed standing in front of Draco.
"Guys can you just sto- "All of a sudden, my mind went completely blank, Draco... Draco Malfoy.
I was remembering everything, I remembered all of the mean things he had said to me. What had happened in the great hall? I looked up at Draco, so disappointed that he had lied to me this whole time. I slowly got up and walked over to Harry and Draco.
My head still spinning I out my hand on Harry's shoulder.
"It's not worth it." I calmly said.
Harry looked back at me and lightly smiled, "Ok, I will listen to you from now on." Harry said stepping away from Draco.
"And you, don't you ever fucking speak to me ever again," I said squinting my eyes and crossing my arms.
I shook my head and turned around, going back to my bed. When I sat down and looked up Draco was gone, harry sitting next to me lightly rubbing my back.
Madame Pomphrey walked around the corner and came up towards me and harry, "Are you ready for your examination dear."
I nodded happily at her.
"Ok dear, I'm going to lightly push on some areas, tell me if they hurt at all."
I nodded happily, everywhere she pushed didn't hurt a single bit.
"Nothing at all, ok good," Pomphrey said smiling up at me.
"Let's check your head." She said moving up towards my head.
"Well, everything seems to be fine. You can leave whenever you would like." She said smiling and walking off.
"Oh my god I can actually leave this place, I'm so happy harry. What are we going to do!" I shrieked; I was so excited to leave this place.
"Well first I want you to take a shower, I can still see some dry blood in your hair." Harry awkwardly laughed.
I tried covering my hair in embarrassment and giggled a little.
"Ok, well then I'll meet you in the common room ok?" I said slowly getting up from the bed.
"Well first lets actually get you to the common room, I'm not letting you walk all the way there by yourself silly." He said lightly patting me on the back.
I giggled a little and Harry got all of my things carrying them for me. He always had his hand on my back, making sure I wasn't walking to fast. Once we walked down the hallway, we reached the stairs.
"Harry, I really don't want to walk up these stupid stairs. It's going to take forever." I huffed rolling my eyes and looking up at harry annoyed.
"Well, there isn't any other way." He said smiling and giggling at me.
We slowly made our way up the stairs, as they moved and changed, we patiently waited for them to go back.
"I think we are going to be here for at least three months," I said laughing at harry.
"Well, whose fault is that," Harry said playfully winking at me.
I rolled my eyes at him and smiled, we finally got into the common room. I think it took us half an hour to actually get up those stairs alone.
"Ok, we are finally here. I'll be waiting for you ok." Harry said smiling at me.
I smiled back at him and slowly made my way to the bathroom. Going into one of the cubical I closed the door and turned the shower on, I tried combing through my hair a little with my finger. And my god my hair was literally like a bird's nest, this was going to take ages for me to actually look half decent.
I got undressed and stood under the shower, the hot water drizzling down my back felt amazing. As the water soaked my hair, I put in almost half the bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Hoping that it would be half ok once I got out of the shower.
I looked down to still see some slight bruising and some scars here and there. To be honest I didn't really care that I had all of these scars. I shacked my head to turned off the shower. Stepping out I wrapped my towel around my body. Drying it off I then wrapped my hair up with my towel and started to put on some clothes.
I put on a red pleated skirt with a shite singlet over the top, tucking that into my skirt I put on some white socks with frills on the top. Putting on my black heals I brushed my hair. Finally getting the knots undone I placed a headband over the top.
Putting on some red lipsticks and some concealer over the slight bruises over my face. I put on some light mascara and some blush. I put all of my things away, I felt so nice. Going all out like this was good. I had looked like a mess for days, I actually liked how I looked.
I opened the door and went back into the common room, everyone that was in there stared at me weirdly. Some of the boys had their jaw dropped and other girls looked, jealous? I'm not sure but it was very weird, I walked over to the couches to see Ron Hermione and harry all chatting away. Ron glanced up at me and looked back down. His eyes instantly widened, and he jerked his head back up towards me.
"Bloody hell Athelina, you look stunning." He said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
I giggled and said, "Thank you, Ron."
Hermione looked over to see why Ron was, so star-struck, she glanced up at me and calmly smiled. Patting her hand on the couch to get me to sit next to her. I walked over and sat down, harry had his nose in his book and didn't even know I was there.
As I started talking to Hermione and Ron suddenly Harrys gasped almost falling off of the couch. Instantly adjusting himself he looked back up at me again.
"You look. nice." Harry said, his face turned completely red as he adjusted his glasses.
"Thank you, Harry," I said blushing just a little.
"I want to show you something, it's a little surprise I have for you," Harry said standing up and holding out his hand.
I looked back at Hermione and Ron and smiled at them. I grabbed Harry's hand and started walking out of the great hall
