The next day arrived in Fuyu, and the scene of the sun hitting the trees was something short of extravagant. There was a saying in Fuyu, that the sun hits this place first when it rises. The beauty of this country is a great selling point.

The 12th Division was all up and at it in the morning, all already planning for their mission. They gathered at a small round table within their given room

"Alright, we have a long day ahead of us, so I'll split you into pairs and give each pair an objective. I'll start with Archer and Asami, I want you to question the princess. Find out what she knows and just question her on what happened that night." Maria said.

"On it." Archer said.

"Yuki, you'll be teaming with Jiro..." Maria said, which brought a second look at Yuki from Archer.

Yuki seems content with this decision as he sat quietly.

How can he be ok with that... What is he thinking?!, Archer thought.

What happened to him, what happened to him for him to have that face he did..., Yuki thought as he couldn't get off this topic that has stained his cerebral like bleach.

"You two will go to the morgue and analyze the body of the assassin. I think there will be information there. Viv, you're pairing with me. That'll be all. Report back here when you're done." Maria said.

"Well, I guess our job will be easy since the princess is here in the citadel." Archer said as him and Asami were both exiting the room.

"Do you think something is wrong with Yuki... He seems different?" Asami asked.

"I don't know but I do know I would be pissed if I had to work with that bastard." Archer said.

Yuki found himself sitting next to Jiro, but neither of them said a word, just sat within silence. Jiro looked vacant while Yuki remained puzzled.

Does he even talk??, Yuki thought.

Patti then squeezes her arms around their necks in a playful manner even though it felt like they were being choked out by a professional wrestler.

"It looks like we're headed to that morgue." Patti said, then thought, I really got stuck with a gloomy ass bunch...

"You're coming with us too?" Yuki asked.

"Well yeah, my objective is to keep an eye on this guy..." Patti said while putting her hand on Jiro's shoulder.

"You don't have to though." Jiro softly said.

"Those are the first words you've said since we left HQ—And you say that?" Patti said.

Clearly Jiro could've chosen his words better.

"I'm not gonna try anything if that's what you're worried about. I'm grateful for this opportunity." Jiro said.

This isn't something that anyone would believe at face value.

"Orders are orders. Let's just head out." Patti said, dismissing Jiro's efforts before they walked out of the room.

"So what are we doing?" Vivian asked Maria as they were the only ones left within the room.

"I brought this specifically for you." Maria said before planting a suitcase onto the table.

'What is it?" Vivian asked, curious what was in the suitcase, and why was it for her.

"Why don't you open it up." Maria said.

Vivian didn't hesitate to do just that, she began opening the suitcase like a christmas present. The suitcase had a laptop inside, and the laptop itself seemed like a very exclusive piece of tech.

"Whoa, this is awesome!!" Vivian said.

Knowing the difference between this one and hers, although she will always prefer hers even though this one is far superior.

"Yeah, I know you're good with this so I need you to do a little research for me. I need you to do research on all of the royal guard members, see if there is anything alarming there." Maria asked.

"That's it? That should be easy." Vivian said, she expected something more challenging than a simple background check.

The work was dispersed, and Maria starts off to a good start as a commanding officer.
