Trouble: Bellatrix

"BELLATRIX!" Cygnus shouted as he chased his daughter down the stairs. "CISSY! ANDIE! QUICK, OPEN THE DOOR!" Bellatrix shouted as she turned a corner of the huge dark mansion of the Black family. Bellatrix ran straight ahead towards the room she shared with her sisters. The door to the room opened and Bellatrix ran inside, Narcissa and Andromeda closing it faster than a blink of an eye. "Holy crickets!" Narcissa said in shock. "What did you do to anger father this time?" Andromeda asked in a worried tone. "I told him that I would never marry." Bellatrix said, shrugging off the conversation whilst brushing off her dress . Narcissa and Andromeda shared a worried glance, both knowing how much marriage meant to their father. "That was definitely a big mistake Bella" Narcissa said. Narcissa and Andromeda had seemed more worried than usual. "Are you guys alright? you never worry about a little joke too much." Bellatrix said with a nervous giggle. Narcissa and Andromeda looked at each other and just nodded.

Both Narcissa and Andromeda were both sworn to secrecy by their father from ever telling Bellatrix about the magic he uses to make her forget about pranks and other chaos-causing ideas that she comes up with. Ever since the Narcissa incident he never trusted Bellatrix and always gave all of the responsibilities to Narcissa and Andromeda.

Cygnus punched the door in anger as if it were a punching bag. The girls heard their father back away from the door. Bellatrix and her sisters let out a sigh of relief and slumped down onto Andromeda's bed, all of the stress leaving their bodies. Just as they thought they were safe they hear the swish of an aggressive wand. "ALOHAMORA" Cygnus practically yelled from behind the door. "BELLATRIX HIDE" Andromeda and Narcissa yelled as if they read one another's minds. The lock on the door clicked, and for a moment the room was dead silent, so silent in fact, that you could hear gusts of wind rattling the old windows of the mansion, an owl flapping its wings outside, even Mrs. Button dropping and shattering a glass upstairs. The silence was broken by none other than Cygnus almost kicking down the door to the room causing the room to shake like an earthquake. "WHERE IS BELLATRIX" Cygnus roared. Narcissa and Andromeda cowered to the corner of the room in fear of their father who turned the room upside down in search for his daughter. Bellatrix stood sat frozen in her closet hardly breathing, and making sure not to make a sound. "Why have such small closets in such a big house such as this one?" Bellatrix thought to herself.

Some time passed, Cygnus still searching the big room slowly started to calm. He stopped stomping around on the floor, and for a moment it seemed as though he would leave the room unsuccessful of finding his daughter. Bellatrix, in thought that Cygnus had left the room let out a sigh of relief. "What was that Andromeda?" Cygnus questioned. "N-Nothing father" Andromeda stuttered. "Well if it wasn't you then who was it?" Cygnus demanded. Narcissa and Andromeda went dead silent. "Well speak up girls WHO WAS IT" Cygnus's face turned flush red in anger again, knowing his daughter was in the room he looked around to see if he had missed anywhere that Bellatrix could have hidden, for Bellatrix was small for her age and she could fit almost anywhere. Sure enough, Cygnus's eyes had landed upon the closet in which Bellatrix was hiding. Bellatrix's heartbeats began to beat faster as she saw her father getting closer through the crack of the closet door, her breath shaking uneasily. She watched as the closet door opened and her father was in sight. Cygnus leaned closer and closer until he was face to face with Bellatrix. Bellatrix held her breath. She could feel her fathers warm breath on her face, filled with the scent of liquor and cigars. Then Cygnus backed away.

"WHERE IS THAT FOOLISH GIRL" Cygnus shouted as he slammed the door to the closet and left the room. Bellatrix let out a sigh of relief as Andromeda pulled the invisibility cloak off her sister in disbelief. "Bella, you aught to be more careful, father almost found you." Narcissa said, pale from the shock her sister and father had brought upon her.

"Well, he didn't find me, and I don't want to stick around to see what happens when he does" Bellatrix sulked and hopped out of the window onto the muddy, wet dirt outside, walking away with the cloak over her head into the forest.
