Third Person

"so zach herron huh?" amara asked brinnley as they both walked into their english class. brinnley looked at the girl with wide eyes. "what? why are you looking at me like that?"

"because i don't want people to know about him or else all attention falls on me and we know how i feel about attention" brinnley stated as they both sat down in their seats.

"oh right, but you do know that majority of the school already knows right?" amara asked causing brinnley to whip her head in amara's direction.

"what? how? who told them? who knows exactly?" brinnley said looking around nervously hoping no one was staring at her.

"b they have been talking about it all day, he liked and commented on your post which people saw. not only that but you went up a shit ton in followers in 2 hours so people got curious" amara told her.

brinnley slowly nodded and then put her head down on her desk hoping no one would talk or stare at her. she just wanted to get through the school day.

once the period ended brinnley and amara grabbed their things and walked out of class to meet evelyn by her locker. the three of them always go out and eat lunch together since evelyn can't drive, but they have senior privilege which lets them leave school during their lunch period.

"you ready to go ev?" brinnley asked when they got to evelyn's locker. evelyn nodded and the three started to walk out of the school before they were stopped.

"hey brinnley wait up!" a girl named ella said. "i want to talk to you really quick"

brinnley turned around to see ella, ella's friends, and ella's boyfriend ashton. "yeah what's up?" she asked.

"so you know the whole school is talking about you right now. something about you and some famous kid being friends?" ella said making brinnley's eyes go wide.

"the-the whole school?" brinnley asked as ella nodded making brinnley nervous. "it's not even that big of a deal i don't know why everyone is concerned"

"it's not that big of a deal b, don't listen to her. everyone is just excited about you knowing a famous person" evelyn said trying to calm her down.

"i wouldn't call it excitement everyone is kind of pissed about it, i mean you are always so quiet so how do YOU meet a cute famous guy" ella's friend, maya, said.

"hey wait that's what i said" amara said but gets kicked by evelyn. "ow! obviously i didn't say it like that though"

"listen brinnie, they only hate you cause they ain't you, don't get hung up on what everyone says, it's not worth it, now let's go get food" evelyn said grabbing amara and brinnley's hands and walking out the door.

"hey brinnley!" a voice said behind them, it was ashton. "i'm sorry about what ella and her friends said, trust me, no ones hating on you"

"uh thanks ashton, i appreciate it" brinnley said and she continued to walk to the car with a small smile on her face, as ashton did as well.
