Part 5

Okay so life right now sucks a hell of a lot. Our history teacher Mr Tanner was killed by an 'animal', so no shock me, Lance, and Kimberly have been taken out of school and put on lockdown. Something about being around death not being good for our wellbeing. I kind of zoned out of the ridiculous explanation I was given. Even though they captured a mountain loin, the supposed thing making these attacks we still can't leave.

Also not to mention I haven't seen Care around lately. Kimberly told me not to worry and that she's just being her busy self. The problem is that I do worry, I mean hello vampires are back in town and I may have pissed one of them off. I knew I should have put her on vervain, you know what next time I see her I will. Getting back into our old classes was one of the most frustrating things, they treat us like we're five and the uniforms seem to have gotten itchier. It's lunch and we sat with everyone else and then a little girl run up to us, "are you guys, Emily, Kimberly, and Lance." Lance gives her a sweet smile, "we sure are kid." Her eyes widen, "so it's true, you killed your teacher." I saw Lance clench his jaw, "look-" I cut him off, "if we did we would be in jail, it was a mountain loin, that has now been captured." She gives us a quick nod and then runs away.

That night I was looking through my books in my room and Kim came to my door, "Emmy you know I love you, right?" I put my book down, "what do you want now?" She laughs, "no nothing, it's just me and Lace were talking. Your anger spikes were normal here but the magic side of things at school was well-- We love you too much for you to get exposed." As she sits next to me I take her hand, "I'll get it in check while we have time off." She then looks at the grimoire, "couldn't something in that help you, you know find out why you're like this. You always told us you were too powerful for your own mom and grandma, you stopped them binding your magic." I look down at the book, "I've looked before, but I'll look again." She nods, "well I better get ready for bed, days here feel well longer then before." I nod, "night, love you always." She gets up and says, "and forever."

Before I went to sleep I found a spell that could open every corner of my mind as I sleep, unlock hidden memories that sort of thing. So I did the spell before I slept and then drifted off to dream land.

In her dream:

I look around and find I'm by a lake side and behind me is a meadow. Just as I was about to move a voice makes me jump, "hello darling, about time you joined me." I turn around to find a handsome boy that looks around my age that sounds British, "who are you?" He smirks, "the names Kol, I've waited over a 1000 years for this." I frown, "for what? How are you here I did a spell to unlock memories not whatever this is." He lays down on the floor and pats to the side of him, "join me, please." I reluctantly lay next to him, "answer my question." He sighs, "isn't the sky lovely here, it's the only thing that keeps me sane, and you of course." I sit up, "if your not going to answer, I'll just make myself wake up." He sits up and frowns, "you are no fun today. Fine, I'll tell you if you put that adorable pout away." I scoff, "I do not pout." He gives me a look, "you are right this minute, it's just so cute it's a little distracting." I roll my eyes, "on with it please."

"Well darling Emmy you see, you read what the spell did wrong. It unlocks memories sometimes yes, other's it unlocks a greater power or connection you do not yet have control over." My eyes widen, "how do you know my name, I never said it." He caresses my cheek, "we are connected Emmy, I'm your soulmate. I've had flash visions of you my whole life, it's killed me knowing how far in my future you would be." I pull away, "no, soulmates are not real, love is an illusion." He laughs, "yes and your not a witch, aren't you supposed to be fiction?" I stand up, "how can I tell if you're telling me the truth?" He sighs, "I see we have the distrusting thing in common. Look those angry burst around other boys and maybe sometimes Elena may be me. I'm just a tad overprotective and I've tried to calm it around, oh what's his name, it's start's with an L."

He's now standing as I say, "Lance." He clicks his finger, "that's it. I know he's just a friend, but he sometimes get's too close and I just want to kill him." I slap his shoulder, "your the reason why I'm in the nut house." He pouts and it's kind of cute, wait no he is not cute, brain stop it, "hold up, look I may be part of it but most of the anger is still yours I just enhance it." I nod slowly, "so soulmates." He smirks, "yep, and I already love you. I mean I've seen your whole life, I know freaky and I don't want to pressure you to feel the same till, well you do." I flop back to the ground, "you love me? And you've seen my whole life." He nods, "all of it so far." I smile a little, "no one other then my grams has every loved every part of me." He pulls me up with his hands, "no one ever has with me, and part of me expects the same from you. You should get snippets of my life from here on out or you'll turn up here. Just don't judge me too hard."

I laugh, "you can't be that bad." He shows me his vampire face, "I'm one of the Original vampires, I've kill millions." I reach out and touch his face, "pretty. That was the past as long as you don't do it in the present too much I'm good with it." He shrugs, "not too sure about that, I'm asleep in a coffin." I roll my eyes, "then wake up and come and see me stupid, it would make this a lot easier." He laughs a little, "my brother Klaus daggered me, with it still in me I can't wake. Promise you'll wait for me? I know it's selfish but--" I cut him off, "I promise, no ones ever loved all of me before even my bestfriends don't know everything. Your either amazing or very messed up." "How about both?" I smirk, "perfect, because same here... Hold if you saw everything does that mean you've seen me naked?!" He smirks, "I did say I loved all of you." I whack him, "perv." Before he could responded I feel the world around us fading he smiles, "I guess you're waking up, I'll be with you every step." I shout as he seems to be going further away, "close your eyes from now on!" "Only for you!" 

End of dream reality:

I wake up and see one of the nurses, "wake up. You have a call." I frown, "this late at night?" She shrugs and just hands me my phone that they had taken away, "hello?" "Emily? This is Elena." I scoff, "how did you get this number?" "I know you hate me, but Caroline she got into a relationship with Stefan's brother and he hurt her." "How do you know this?" "It's the night of the founders party, I saw bite marks. She's gonna need you when your out." "And I'll be there, thanks for being decent for once, now loose my number please and thank you." I hang up and feel an overwhelming feeling of comfort, "thanks Kol. This is all my fault if I had just told her, you know what Nevermind, we'll talk about this our next dream. If there is another one and I'm not just going crazier." I decided to stay up and do some spell practice. I have a Salvatore to kill slowly and painfully.
