VENUS STARED AT Jimin who absolutely refused to speak about what had made him so upset. After waking up at Taehyung's house alone, he had left a note for her along with medicine and water telling her that something incredibly important came up at the Red Room and he had to leave, but that she was welcome to stay as long as she wanted. As much as Venus would like to lay in his bed all day until he returned, she had a best friend in need.

Jimin silently sipped on his Sprite, licked his lips, and placed his hands on his lap. "So..." He whistled, avoiding eye contact with Venus because he knew she wouldn't allow any of his bullshit. He should be grateful that she's so adamant about figuring out what's going on to help him. But Jimin wasn't used to addressing the faults in his relationship with those outside of the relationship.

"Jimin...what happened with Yoongi and Hoseok?" She knew it had something to do with them. He still wasn't wearing his collar, something he was meant to wear all the time. There had to be a sort of fallout that happened between them. She knew she had hit it on the head from the sharp intake of air. His eyes shifted away and his fingers fiddled anxiously.

There's a progression in the way Jimin breaks down. It starts with heavy breathing and shifting eyes. His lips purse and squish as he begins to try and blink away the tears that swell in his eyes. He fights until the very end until he can't anymore, until it breaks out of him in a broken sob. His face grew flushed, reddened from his crying as tears stained his cheeks. He was crying, sobbing, babbling incoherently and uncontrollably.

Venus gathered him up, pulling him close to hug him. "It's okay, Chim. Let it out." She smoothed a hand over his head as he cried on her shoulder. She could tell he's been holding this in for a while. Just the slightest touch and it would explode. Well...he exploded, and now he was crying against her.

They sat there for a few minutes, just hugging while Jimin cried into her shoulder, wetting her shirt with salty teats, though Venus didn't mind at the moment. She stroked his head while his hands cling to her shirt and whispers comforting words to him.

Jimin eventually calmed down enough to form cohesive sentences. He pulled away, wiping his tears, and sniffed again, his nose all stuffed and red. "I'm sorry for breaking down like that. I don't know what came over me." He hiccuped slightly.

"You've just been holding in too many emotions." She reasoned logically. Jimin looked up at her and then to her shoulder. "I'm sorry about your shirt too. I'll get you a new one."

"It's okay. Just tell me what's wrong. Maybe I can help." Venus put her hand on his shoulders. She was truly and genuinely worried for him. Just at the mention of them, Jimin's iron will crumbles to dust.

Jimin sighed. "No, no, it's my fault. I can't ask you to help me."

Venus insisted. "But you need it. Just tell me what's going on. Tell me everything and anything you want. I'll listen to you. I'm right here."
