After the second week, the time really flew fast, as soon as school started Halloween came across. But that's behind us as well for a long time, right now it's the Christmas holiday.
I sit down in the great hall eating my breakfast, the twins and Lee are walking over. Bye Lee I will see you after the holiday I say and give him a hug, yes you will hope you survive here at school Lee jokingly say. Don't worry about me I say smiling and look at the twins.
After the confession about my dad, and Lee giving the twins the access words too the Marauders map they have tried to say sorry, even at Halloween the kept on pranking people to make me laugh. Again we are really sorry, we hope to make it better and we gave you a gift it's in your room thanks to Louise and Charlie the twins say. I shake my head while smiling, come here you Losers have a great Christmas and enjoy your time with Bill I know you two missed him I say and hug them tight. We're gonna miss you the twins say and they walk out of the great hall, so they can go to the train back to King cross.
I got back into the common room and go to my dorm, there are 4 presents on my bed. "Wait until Christmas we're sorry" a note say that lays on top of them all, really guys that's the end of this week I say. Ugh what do I do till then, I walk back to the common room and sit in front of the fireplace with a charms book on my lap.

It's the DAY, it's Christmas! I run downstairs to the common room, the professors have put a Christmas tree in the common room. And as the tradition goes I have put my gifts underneath it, I sit down and put on the fireplace. I take the first gift and see that it's from Charlie and Louise, I read the note first.
"hi little one Merry Christmas hope you like it" it says I open the present and see a muggle book with all kind of animals, I open the book and go to the cat section and search for a Lynx. Lynx I call and my owl fly's over to me, hey buddy I wanna show you something I say and point at the book. See this animal that's were you're name is from I say and pet him. He screech happily and I put the book away, I take the next one it's from Thomas.
"Hey Vi merry Christmas x Thom" I open his present and it shows some snacks for Lynx. There you have some I say giving Lynx some of the snacks, the next one is from the Twins and Lee there is no note. Even too lazy to write something, I open it and see sweets inside, Aw Thanks guys.
The last one, 'hi Darling sorry that you couldn't come home I gave you some new gloves I know it's not a surprise now but hey Merry Christmas' the note say I open the present and see indeed a pair of gloves inside. Thanks Uncle.
The door with the portrait opens and professor McGonagall walks inside, Merry Christmas Violet she say. Thank you professor you as well Merry Christmas I say, I've got one more present for you miss Black it came this morning at the post but you weren't there she say and hand me a package.
Thank you professor I say and open it, it's a knitted sweater with on the front the letters V I and on the back J B. (A/N Violet Ibolya Jamie Black that's what the letters stand for) The colours of the letters are Scarlett while the colour of the sweater itself is deep blue, I see a note falling out of the sweater. It's our mom's fault, she would love to meet you! don't worry your secret is save, but when she asked about the letters for on the sweater we couldn't let it and told her your 4 initials X from the Weasley's.

It's the night from January 8 on 9, The Weasley's, Lee, Louise and Thomas have told me everything about their Christmas just as I told them about mine, I'm sitting in the common room drinking some hot chocolate and a candle is on next to me. Just one more minute until it's 5:15 a.m better know as my birthday, it's the exact time I got born.
Happy birthday Violet I say and blow the candle, yes happy birthday Violet a group of voices say, I turn around and see the twins, Lee, Charlie and Louise standing behind me. Why you guys up I ask, celebrating a birthday of course Louise say and sit down next to me.
So 12 years now she say and nudge me, yup born on January 9th 5:15 in the morning I say. Never thought we would have friends that are older the twins say, shut up you have Charlie, bill & Louise I say and look at the twins. Come here you loser they say and I get up and jump in their arms, we love you they say. I love you guys as well I say and make my way over to Lee, happy birthday he say and hugs me, thank you I say and sit back down Charlie sits on the other side of me. He hugs me as well, the boys sit down and we start to just talk.
It really gonna be a great year I say and stand up, we should go back and get at least a little bit of more sleep I continue and walk to the sleep dorm. Louise follows me and when I got my bed I immediately fall asleep.
