Ghianne Sanchez"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Local time is 1:47 PM and the temperature is 32°C," the head stewardess spoke as the plane maneuvers to the gate. "Katipunan Airlines welcomes you to Manila."
Ilang beses na-delay ang flight namin bound to Manila. Pero sa wakas, after a long 18 hour flight from London, we've finally arrived.
"On behalf of your flight deck crew headed by Captain Corry Barrinuevo with First Officer Cassidy Barrinuevo and the rest of the team, we'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice stay at maligayang pagdating sa Perlas ng Silanganan!"
Once everything was settled, I was by the door of the plane, leading the passengers out of the plane. After safely deplaning, we checked the isles and seats for trash and things that passengers have left behind or forgotten.
"Good job, everyone. Amidst all of the delays, the flight was run smoothly," F.O. Barrinuevo, our co-pilot, exited the cockpit. "Thank you for all of your hard work. Kuya and I really appreciate your hard work."
"Nako, Ma'am Cassidy, wala po 'yun," my co-flight attendant said, casually.
Pero wala akong marereklamo, they're my friends now at this point.

[Are you sure it's alright? You know I can just ask someone else to pick—]
"Plato, ayos nga lang," paniniguro ko. "'Wag mo 'tong intindihin, wala 'to, okay?"
[I'm just worried, Ghi.
"I know, alagang-alaga mo ang inaanak ko," bumungisngis ako. "Anyways, you should go now. Nakakaabala na ata ako sa trabaho mo."
She sighed, again. [Alright, take care of him for me,] aniya. [Ingat kayo pauwi.] 'Yun ang huli niyang sinabi bago naputol ang kabilang linya.
