(Y/N's POV) I woke up on the side of the sore line of the dark islands beach. I'm covered in bruises and dry blood. I get up and start headed towards the house to get cleaned up. Before I can get on the first step my sister opens the door. I don't even look at her I just get out of her way. She walks past me and I walk in the house to go to my room. Where I just sit there and cry for an hour. After I had a good cry I feel numb after it. So I'm trying to find away to get off this stupid island and go to Ninjago I heard that it's nice there. I doubt I'll be welcomed though I mean I'm the daughter of the overlord. The worst that would happen is that I'll be sent back here and my dad would just abuse me for leaving. I know that my dad has a spell book to travel and to leave this stupid place. I have to wait for him to leave his study or I might find it in the library in the basement. So I'll wait till after there both asleep and look for it. I hope that I just won't get caught fraying to find it. (Time skip to after your sister and the overlord is passed out) The reason why I decided to do it after they fell asleep is because it's hard to wake them after they are asleep. So I run to my dads study and I look at every single book and nothing pops up. So I run to the library in the basement and start looking. After hours of looking I finally found it. I run back to my room and hide the book so I can start reading and practicing it tomorrow. So I can leave this abuse family, I still can't believe that my mom isn't here anymore. Yet my dad and sister blames me for her death I don't even know how she died. I was a baby when she passed so I've been almost abused my whole life for a reason I don't know. I've seen pictures of my mom and I look like her and in every picture she would be in purple. So I guess I got everything from her except my ears, tail, teeth, and wings. I got those from my dad now my sister looks nothing like mom she looks identical to our dad. So I don't know if she's my actual sister or not cause she looks nothing like mom but like dad. I don't even know the symbol on her shirt means I know it's the shape of a dragon but I don't know what it represents. I'm to scared to wake my dad what it means so I just leave it be. I'm going to try and sleep but I doubt I'll get some after of what happened today. I do take sleeping pills to help me sleep but they stopped working after a year of me taking them. So I just don't sleep anymore I maybe get a couple of hours of sleep before I get a nightmare. I do have good dreams of where I escape this place and my dad dies and me and my sister are friends again like we use to be. But I know that my dad will never die and my sister and I will never be friends again. So the only thing that is possible is me escaping this reached place. I hope that they won't find out that I'm trying to get off this island that they call home.
