My Biggest Secret

Chapter 7

When school was over I was very confused and worried about what happen to me today with the football team and this weird animal bite I had. I started to feel really dizzy while waiting for my mum to pick me up it was almost like the energy from beating up the captain of the football team drained me. 

I got Into the car with mum and I tried to hide my bloody eye from her ''Hey mum how was your day?''

''Good how about yours'' she says looking over at me with her bright hazel eyes almost seeing that their was something wrong.

''It was okay'' I said putting my hand behind my neck getting a little nervous since my mum was very protective of me so of course she would run after anyone that hurt me.

''why are you so close to the window?'' she asks looking over as she puts her keys in the car beginning to start it to drive back home.

''Oh I was just looking at this amazing view'' I lied I knew I was busted and now I'm gonna get myself in more trouble at school if she comes in there like she did in grade school.

''sweetie look at me'' she turns my head to her and her mouth drops a little from the sight of my eye and she raise's one eyebrow 

''Mum stop I got into a fight and I won end of the story please just don't tell dad '' I said sighing softly not wanting anyone else to know but my mum

''fine sweetie but I'm gonna fix your eye up as soon as we go home'' she says as she smiles a little and she drives home, parking her car in the same spot as she did before leaving a spot for my dad

I get out and walk into the house, then walk upstairs to my bedroom setting down my books and bag and getting changed into a black shirt with some sweatpants I walk back downstairs to mum.

''alright here we go'' she gets out her first-aid kit and gets out a bandage with medical cream and she points at the chair

I sit down in the chair and wait for her to do her ''magic''

she first cleans the blood off of my eye, then applies the medical cream to it then she puts on the bandage ''all done''

Then all of the sudden my dad walks in from his long day of work, he slips off his boots and takes off his coat and looks over at me like he almost knew what had happen at school ''Hello ashton''

''Hey dad'' I said with a nervous tone in my voice

''what happen to your eye?'' he asks walking over to me and mum

''Oh...I u-um had a disagreement with someone'' I say looking up at him

''Bloody aye I told you to not get yourself in trouble when we were moving I cant believe you already got yourself in a fight'' he says sighing softly holding his head

''dad i couldn't help it, it just happen'' I said starting to get a bit annoyed with him

''I go to my new job and work just to come home to this, my son beat up and turned into a rebel jeez'' he said turning around to the kitchen sink

I felt something inside of me just crack open and my eyes turn a bright yellow and I let out a small deep growl and run up to my room slamming the door and laying down on my bed ''why cant anyone understand me!'' i scream
