꧁𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖕𝖙𝖊𝖗 20: 𝐇𝐮𝐫𝐭꧂

Katsuki refused to come to terms with reality. Was this really happening? Was he really going to fight Izuku?

No. This wasn't Izuku.

That's right. This wasn't Izuku, so there was no reason to hold back, right? He could fight at full strength even if it meant harming him...

Right?

Katsuki, get a grip on yourself.

Izuku ran to him, raising his hand as he got ready to strike him down. Katsuki withdrew his sword and held it above his head just as Izuku swung. Sparks flew as the two blades collided.

Izuku pushed down on his blade, but Katsuki pushed back with his strength. The greenette was strong, there was no doubt about it, but Katsuki didn't think that he was this strong.

Fuck.

His feet slid beneath him as the greenette kept pushing down. His eyes, that held its usual warmth and care, now held nothing but an intent to get to his goal by any means possible. Katsuki tried to search his eyes, for any traces of the Izuku he knew, but all he was met with was emptiness.

He cursed under his breath, lifting his foot and landing a kick to the greenette's stomach. Izuku doubles over in pain, arms wrapped around his stomach as his hold on his sword loosened up.

But he wasn't done yet. Despite the ache on the spot which had been kicked, he still charged at the blond who got himself ready.

Izuku swiftly moved his sword, missing the blond by a hair's breadth but he didn't stop for a short break. He fought back with another attack, but Katsuki wasn't going to let his guard down. With each slash of Izuku's sword, he always deflected it with his own.

Katsuki could see it, the growing frustration on Izuku's face as each of his attacks proved to be useless against the blond, but this didn't mean that Izuku was ready to give up. At the last minute of his attack, one of his hands let go of his sword in a quick fluid movement, and he clenched his fist, landing an uppercut to the blond's jaw.

Katsuki would have fallen back if not for the railing behind him which caught him. The force of his body hitting the metal bars causes the boat to jolt foward.

Izuku turned, his feet making its way to an unguarded side of the boat, a small smile quirking his lips.

The blond didn't waste any time to push himself upright, even though his jaw was throbbing, and he runs after the freckled teen. "Like hell you're getting off this boat!"

His words rang in Izuku's ears, the smile on his face instantly dropping. He clenched his teeth in frustration, swinging his sword back but Katsuki already got his sword ready, the two blades colliding.

Izuku turned his body fully to him, gripping his sword tightly as he slid it up, bringing Katsuki's sword up with his. At the same time, the swords broke contact with each other.

Izuku still struck back though, the force almost pushing Katsuki off his feet as he used his sword once again to deflect it. The greenette was growing tired, his movements getting slower with each slash of his weapon. Katsuki was also getting exhausted but he was in more control, a sheen of sweat above his eyebrows even though the air around them was cold.
