I just wanted to wish my wonderful readers a Happy Halloween 🎃🦇👻
Battleground, the first ever how exciting! I didn't have a match but Brie was fighting against AJ for the Divas Championship, obviously Brie being a good friend I was rooting for her but I also wanted to know who I would eventually face in the coming weeks for the title or whenever my shot came around.
Jon was going to be ringside for Colby and Joe's match against the Rhodes brothers; Cody and Dustin so they were around backstage somewhere.
I sat on a storage container with my headphones over my ears messing around with my phone, just taking a bit of time for myself. I felt a tap on my shoulder so I looked up and noticed JoJo standing in front of me with a smile on her face."Uh hi" I smiled looking around her before making eye contact, pulling one earpiece off my ear. I was slightly confused she had been here in WWE now for six months and not once has she approached me on her own.
"Hi." She squeaked in response, playing with her fingers. "I don't know if you know this but am a huge fan of yours and I was wondering if you would have an hour or two to possibly, maybe, help me in the ring."
"Oh, wow, okay first of all. Thank you." I laughed pulling the entire headphone set off my head. "And two, I'd love to help you JoJo. " I smiled holding in a sigh. I've never personally trained someone how to wrestle but I also had an issue saying no. Maybe it won't be too bad. She seems like a sweet girl, surely there isn't any ulterior motives.
"Oh my God really?" She grinned her big happy smile making me smile, it was contagious after all. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." She squealed hugging me as best she could due to where I was sitting.
"Don't worry about it" I laughed pulling away from her. Looking at her face I could tell she was extremely happy and to be honest I felt great for being partly responsible for her happiness. "I'll try and get something set up and we can train. "
"Perfect, thank you so much." She grinned giving me another hug before skipping down the corridor.
"You got yourself your own personal cheerleader there" Jons voice was right in my ear and I felt him peck my cheek. I turned my head just as he pulled away and grabbed his face pulling him in for a real kiss. "Hello to you too. "
"I just did a good thing."
"You did?" He questioned, his eyebrow raised as he adjusted his top and he placed his United States title on the container next to me.
"She asked me to train her and I said yes." I grinned glancing at his title. It was so shiny. I felt myself lifting his title and placing it in my lap, it was quite heavy but I loved the feeling. Lifting it I placed it over my shoulder, grabbing my phone and taking a selfie with it. When I was happy with the photo I put the title back on my lap, petting it before looking at Jon who was watching me, a grin in his face. "What?"
"You're just gorgeous." He breathed taking me in. I felt the heat attack my face as I looked away biting my lip. "And there it is."
"Jon, stop it." I laughed putting my face in my hands to hide my embarrassment. I didn't understand why he liked when I bit my lip, it was a nervous habit but one he was obsessed with.
"Can't help it babygirl" He smiled at me but I couldn't help but scrunch up my nose and shake my head. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing...." I started but stopped myself, I didn't want to hurt his feelings but I had to say something. "Joe calls me Babygirl."
"He does?" Jon asked eyebrow raised, he looked away from me for a brief second before shaking his head. "Son of a bitch" He laughed putting his hands on my knees.
