Day 6

Tara was star struck when she woke up. The events of last night came rushing back to her. More importantly, the almost-kiss.

She knew exactly what she wanted to do right now.

Every single cell in her body was speaking to her right now. And, she had some unfinished business to attend to.

She stormed into Sabrina's apartment, Jack startled at her. His confused look and questioning stare didn't stop Tara from barging into Sabrina's room.

She was sleeping soundly. Tara closed the room's door behind her and went up to Sabrina, who'd started stirring in her sleep from all the noise.

Sabrina woke up to see Tara sitting next to her, the bed dipping slightly where she was sitting. Tara stared into those hazel eyes and leaned in. She'd never done anything like this before. It was new, exhilarating, crazy even.

Sabrina's hands held Tara's face, drawing slow circles over her cheek with her thumb. She sat up and held their foreheads together, their breath mingling. She could feel Tara's breathing become erratic, her chest heaving, and she could feel her own heart thumping just as madly. She could feel a smile draw up slowly on Tara's lips.

Before either of them knew it, their lips locked. It was like being at the world's craziest and most amazing firework show. Sabrina flipped around, pushing Tara onto the bed, while they continued.

Her hands roamed the curves of Tara's body while Tara laid down helplessly and desperate for Sabrina.

Unfortunately for the two, Jack decided to walk in at that moment. He stopped in his tracks and made eye contact with Tara, who immediately jumped up, bumping her head into Sabrina's.

The two sat on the bed together, their hair ruffled, trying to catch their breath, while Jack stood there, frozen.

Sabrina could not take her eyes off Tara. Tara wore a black, off-shoulder dress, that ended a few inches above her knees. The brown of her eyes popped out more with the eye-liner and kohl. Her hair was curled in a cute bob and the midnight-blue earrings dangling at her shoulders made the sweetest sound when she moved.

Tara smiled at Sabrina. "Wow, you look beautiful T!", Sabrina exclaimed. She pulled Tara towards her, wrapping her into a hug, and planting a small kiss on her lips.

"Okay, okay, let's go now, I'm hungry!", Tara stopped Sabrina, and led her out of the room, along with their coats, into the cold evening air of Delft.

Sabrina wore a sleek blue dress that fit her in all the right places. The two shivered as the air hit their faces. They walked hand in hand up the bridge and stood at the top of the bridge in time to watch the sunset. They stood in silence as they saw the sky change colors from blue to a pretty pink to a deep purple, blending into the night sky.

The two walked to the Chocolate Cafe in the city center and took seats at the coziest corner. There were pretty lights hung up around the cafe, and slow music played in the background. The warm orange lights gave a vintage glow to the place and the hot-chocolates the two had ordered were warm and soothing.

The two sat there, talking, about their interests, getting to know each other. But all the while, they teased each other with the small glances, eye-contact at weirdly synced times, and the occasional brush of hands that sent flutters down their spine.

Their laughter and smiles filled the air. For the first time since coming to Delft, Tara felt a sense of peace she had not realized she was missing. On cue, the song Falling, by Intersection, began playing and Tara got Sabrina up and the two swayed to the music in the semi-darkness.
