human cas

a/n: !!tw!! eating disorder and slightly suicidal thoughts 

Cas just turned human and he was struggling he has rarely left his room to go get food or t talk to them.

Sam and Dean were researching the map room of the bunker

"Sammy I haven't seen cas this bad since the purgatory thing," Dean muttered staring at the book not actually reading it

Sam let out a huff "dean he's fin-" he was cut off by loud thump coming from down the hall

"t-that sounded like," dean whispered

"yeah,"

They jumped up and ran down the hall dean knocked on the door, "cas open the door," Dean yelled

There was no answer, so dean kicked down the door he saw his ex-angel passed out on the floor barely breathing

"shit," Dean cursed himself for not noticing this sooner, he ran toward cas and checked his pulse thanking god for him being alive. He flipped Castiel over his eyes were red a puffy =dean knew he had been crying, he heard it one night but he ignored it. 'stupid dean stupid' dean thought.

"c-c-call Gabe or Alex just call someone," dean cried he softly caressed Castiel face

"cas buddy please wake up," Dean whispered

"Gabriel you S.O.B get down here," Dean begged. Sam stood at the door frame in shock

Dean looked up to see if sam was on the phone with someone, he wasn't

"SAM CALL ALEX," dean yelled

"oh right," sam suddenly snapped into it, pulling his phone out

Dean slowly picked Castiel up and placed him to the bed with dean cradling castiel running his fingers through his hair,

"Gabe please I'm begging you," Dean whispered

He waited and waited

There was a flutter of wings you called dean-o," Gabriel smirked

"cas he's passed out and he's not breathing," dean cried softly

Gabriel's face fell he was worried " let me have a look," Gabriel muttered, he walked closer to castiel and gently placed two fingers on his forehead

"he's hungry he was scared to ask," Gabriel muttered looking through Castiel's head " he's tired, very tired he wants to go, but someone's making him fight," Gabriel smiled

"who is it Gabe, who?" the dean asked confused

"you dean, he loves you," Gabriel smiles

"I love him too oh god why did it take me so long to realise it, cas you fucken fight for me," Dean begged to hug Castiel's lifeless body.

Sam walked in a couple of minutes later

"dean shes on her way," sam smiled

Gabriel looked over to cas and sighed

"she not going to make it in time, yes cassie is fighting but he's barely holding on, I'm going to get her," and with that Gabriel disappeared

They sat there sam was worried fo his brother

"Sammy," Dean started "I love him,"

"dean I know I see the way you look at him," sam smiled

"This is my fault I should've seen it before, I should've seen that he was getting thinner that he unhealthily thin," dean whispered
