On this day, January 17th 1987, Maria Liplow was found dead in a ditch off highway 51. She was found with a single red rose in her hands.
Maria's boyfriend, Noah Kinnem, has just arrived on scene, visibly distressed. Police has approached him, breaking the news about Maria to him. This is heartbreaking to watch, but he has fallen to his knees, screaming.
Police have not made any arrests, but word has come in from the department that there is a suspect who will be brought in to the Seattle Police Department later this night.
Wait- there's a person approaching the scene. I believe that's the person police have suspected. They are arresting him now.
