??? POV- Morning
" Uchi!" A voice rung through my ear.
I opened my sleepy eyes to see an angel sitting on top of me, his skin and hair glistened under the sunlight from an open window. I suspect he's waking me up So I sat up and smiled, staring into his maroon eyes as I ruffled his ginger hair.
"Good morning Shoyo!" I giggled, "what should we have for breakfast?"
"Fish! Fish!" He exclaimed, jumping in excitement. "Me, water, plants!"
He proudly proclaimed, he must've watered the vegetables we grew. The human books are really true and extremely interesting indeed! We started planting the seeds and they grew after watering them daily. The fruit trees haven't blossomed yet, they are still smaller than grown up trees and haven't blossomed yet.
Suddenly upon hearing Hinata's stomach growl, I snapped out of my thoughts and apologized. He must've been waiting.
I then opened the door to go downstairs. The 'escalator' Never moved so I just hopped from step to step. I read in a book that those stairs are powered by 'electricity', and so moved. Humans are really amazing.
But as I walked down the flight of stairs, I smelled it. The scent of a human, a young one too.
I immediately rushed down, wondering why a singular human was doing in a large building like this. There shouldn't be any of the humans taking over territory since they had just taken over the area A little behind, so the possibility of him or her being a scout was scarce.
When I reached the bottom floor, I saw the human. A young girl with short, blonde hair, her skin as fair as porcelain but full of bruises, fortunately none of which were bleeding. Her skirt and shirt was a little torn and she laid on the ground unconscious.
I gasped, yelling at Hinata upstairs to bring the bandages whilst I picked her up and climbed back upstairs.
"They're at the clinic in the 4th floor Shoyo! In a green box with a red cross. I'll meet you up at the bed aisle on the 3rd!" I told him, and we immediately got to work.
??? POV- 12.00
"-Uchi! Hungry!"
"Not yet! We have to feed the human first when she awakes!"
Blurred voices... Am I dead yet? I last remembered out house got broken in by many undead and... Wandering around, running away...
I sat up, remembering the horrible death of my parents being eaten alive. Where are they?! Where am I?! Why am I on a bed in a blanket wrapped in bandages? Where is this place... No way, a mall?
"Oh, she's awake." I heard a voice behind me. I turned my head to see a man with dark hair and freckled, I sighed in relief as I was so glad to see another human, so glad that I forgot to be cautious of strangers. He handed me a Wooden bowl of soup, it wasn't the best but I couldn't be picky either.
"Human? What is your name?" He asked.
"I-I'm Yachi, Hitoka Yachi um.. You don't have to address me as a human, we're both fellow human beings right-" I cut myself off there. I stared into the man carefully and widened my eyes.
When I observed him, he had pale green skin, pointed ears and scars along his hands. He had red stitches on his arms and legs to probably close up wounds. The stitches were especially thick on his neck and left arm. One of the wounds on his arm were so big that I could even see his bones.
I gasped, immediately backing away in fright. I was going to be devoured! Just like mother and father! Is this how I die? I dramatically fell back, accepting my fate and thinking of flashbacks with my family.
