I woke up to the loud sounding of my alarm, alerting me that it was now time to get up . The Sound of birds chirping welcomed me with a soft embrace. I yawned and sat up rubbing my eyes as I groggily walk to the restroom.
Gardens in my head, constantly growing and growing...
Light in my eyes, shining bright..
But soon turning as dark as night...
I asked you why you had done it and if you were happy...
You stared at my lifeless body and decided to flee..
I'm so very scared of this place called home..
It takes my breathe away more then I can atone..
With the windows opened allowing the wind to blow through...
I feel so light and weightless..
Knowing that gardens must always die out..
Mine has already faded...
To black and grey..
But instead of showing you me..
I hide away...Cant you see me? I'm right in front of you showing you my pain.. please see me, please yearn for me..please...love..me..
I sat down at the table drinking a small glass of instant coffee. Scrolling through my phone I stumble upon something.. an image of the boy that was in the photograph. It was an old post seemingly about hauntings that had previously happened. I flipped through the windows of the post. Seeing a bunch of creepy houses. But stopped when I landed on the house I was currently staying in..how odd. I clicked the power button and turned off my phone setting my cup in the empty sink before going up the stairs to look in a few of the rooms. The loud thuds of my steps echo throughout the house.
I neared the top and focused my attention on the doors. I put a mental note of which two I visited last night, remembering to keep the ones I went in half open. I slowly strut down the hall gliding my fingers ever so slightly over the old washed out wallpaper.
Tic tock the clock is striking 1..
This is the time where I yell for you
To run...
Tic tock the clock is striking 5..
Get out or you will die...-
I entered the very last room the others having already been gone though by myself. I raddled the door a bit before realizing it was jammed. "Oh come on.." I said twisting it repeatedly right when I was about to give up, the door moved. I took my opportunity to push it open. Relapsing my decisions as the room had a putrid odor lingering inside. I covered my nose coughing a bit as I walked farther in. It was a small room, with the windows sealed off completely blocking any sun light. The walls were thick, they were so thick they seemed sound proofed. "Odd.." I said stroking the small cage in the center of the room. It was rusted with small chains drooping around the floor. I kneeled down lifting one of the heavy chains from the braces of the ground. It was, much like the cage, rusted. It seems liquid was on it. But the sellers never told me about any leakage, the said there wasn't. I sighed and set the chain down patting my knees before straightening my posture. I looked around the room once more before turning on my heel, exiting the confined room
I silently closed the door running my hand through my dark black locks. Help me.. I flinched at the small whisper. Looking around to attempt to find the culprit of the voice...no one.
"Hey!" I yelled looking down the hall. Trying to sound intimidating. I got no response, so I called out again. "Hey, if there's anyone there get out now, or I'll phone the police!" I stood there waiting for anything to happen, but to my surprise there was absolutely nothing..I'm right here..
I walked down the hall making sure to check the rooms, just in case. I sighed in relief once I found no one. I could have sworn I heard someone..I'm not crazy.. right? I said in my mind as I opened the door to my current bedroom. I smiled as I reached for my boots. I was going to take a walk in the woods to clear my mind, I didn't bring much stuff since I was still busy with school, so I had close to nothing to unpack. Leaving me with some free time before school started back up. School..?
I lock the house door before leaving for my walk making sure to keep the key in my back pocket. I look around the yard aimlessly, looking at the trees, and animals. I wonder why this house was never bought? It seems to be in great condition considering the house's age. The locals avoided the house, and made sure to keep their children away from it as well. What was so bad about the house? It's in a great area the sights are beautiful, it's close to nature too. Maybe some people didn't like that? Maybe they liked to be closer together, or maybe they didn't like the way the house looked. Which confused me as to why anyone would consider this house to be ugly or scary, it was quite the opposite in fact. It looked ethereal, especially with all the plants and different animals. It was breathtaking. I was actually in awe when I read the text saying I got the house. Me? This wonderful house? Is this a joke? I had thought at the time. I don't remember what it's like to live near people, as my family lived farther away from most people, I was also homeschooled so I didn't have much friends to begin with. I didn't mind it though I loved my family especially my mother. She was everything I could ever ask of a mother. She was beautiful, kind, caring, gentle, sweet, wise, anything good that you could possibly think of, that was her. Her voice rang through my ears. Reminding me just how lucky of a boy I am, I honestly don't deserve her..
Someone save me..
I'm trapped..
Please let me out..
I'm scared..
I'm lonely..
I'm sad..
I'm...Dead.....
Hey here's the second chapter it's a bit short but that's ok I worked hard to make it sound smooth, and not rushed but I can't really decide on that. That's up to you to decide.
