"Aura?" I called out in a rather questionable manner, as we were strolling slowly along the riverside cherishing the pleasant yet slightly inclement weather. Just like I have always admired, enveloped in Nature's divine beauty. The negligible human traffic was responsible for the place to be secured in its natural form. Every kind of agitations in my mind took a backseat for a while.

Like a good friend, I offered her my jacket. At least I tried to. After a few minutes,I almost froze from the clammy and frosty gust and began a sneezing spree so she returned it .Well After she finished snickering.Talk about Humiliation.

"Yeah?" She faced me with an innocent smile. I was completely whipped and at a total Loss of words. I wanted to tell her how I feel for her, how her presence has been a great influence on my life, how every little things we've done together has left me ecstatic but my brain went on hiatus for that while. Great. Just Great.

"Why do you like black tea?" I blurted out, immediately pressing my palms against my mouth upon realization. I mean, yeah only a moron like me would be asking such question in this location where you are supposed to get all intimate and rip off each other's clothes but no! I'll forever be a dumb fart.

"I don't," She replied and continued walking, looking at the static river as if trying to capture every single detail printed in her memories forever. Atleast I think so. Or maybe she is thinking, why am I dealing with this mental asylum-case?

"But I saw you having it with one of your friends!" I matched her pace, racing towards her.

"Were you stalking me boy?" She kept on walking, running her fingers through her hair. Is she angry or something? Damn! Girlopedia needs to be updated so badly.

"When someone asks you a question, you need to answer with an answer not a question, Aura Morales," I said from the distance, not taking any further step.

"It was a dare! Fred challenged me to drink it since I hate it from the bottom of my belly. Why did you ask?," She spun around and shouted from her spot. Her brunette curls flowing against the air direction, while she struggled to keep them in place. I chuckled a bit at her efforts but stifled it instantly.

"Who is Fred?" I asked and don't ask me why we were screaming from a distance between us. I don't even know myself.

"When someone asks you a question, you need to answer with an answer not a question,John Bennett," She smirked, folding her hands. Probably doing the little victory dance in her head.

"I just wanted to know. That's all," I shuffled on my spot unable to think of any more answers and out of pure embarrassment taking over my face.

"Okay! Now Can we please end this long-distance relationship? My throat is sore from all the yelling," She said approaching me. I smiled while scratching the back of my head and moved as well.

"Ah, I missed you," She laughed, entwining her fingers with mine. Do I feel butterflies? Nahh! Just elephants, the size of Jupiter.

"Who is Fred?" I can't help it but to ask again. This Fred, was sure to give me nightmares.

"Not someone so important," She flashed a mischievous smile as she answered and maintained her pace, proudly knowing Fred was grinding my gears.

"I need to tell you something Aura," I halted making her stop dead in her tracks as well. She turned to me with a twitched brow. My nerves tensed with emotions and anticipation. Words died out in my throat. All I spat was I..You..We..Dandelion..Kevin...Pancakes..Wait what?!

She shook her head and yawned on purpose. I was still speechless. She eventually grabbed my collar gently and sputtered, "Just say it before I die?"
