SIDE STORY 2 "Curse & Len"

CURSE'S POV

§

"Hey, kaibigan mo si Len diba? Can you give this to him?" A girl with long black hair with fair skin, wearing our school uniform while holding a pink letter.

"I see," I said and accepted the letter.

"Thanks," she said and took off with a very wide smile on her face.

Sinundan ko naman sya ng tingin patungo sa mga kaibigan nya na nagtitilian.

I just rolled my eyes and sighed at the same time. This is the 20th time na nakatanggap ako ng love letter, but unfortunately di para sa akin and letters, but for my friend Len.

We are now in our 3rd year of high school, matapos naming mag graduate as middle school, magksama parin kame ni Len na pumasok sa same school. While Patricia is now in college and sometimes visits or calls us, so as our friends.

I have never really expected na magiging sikat pala tong si Len, especially ngayong high school na kaming dalawa. We were rumored na mag jowa first day of school nung first-year high school pa kame. Of course, we denied that, since di naman talaga kami mag jowa, we're just classmates that eventually became close friends.

"Here," I said, placing the pink letter as mesa ni Len, habang sya naman naka-upo lang na nagbabasa nang book.

"Again?" He said and sighed, "why don't you refuse them Curse? Di ka ba naiinis?" Len said and open the letter para basahin.

"Not really, I mean it's just giving letters, I see nothing annoying with that," I said while sitting at my table. Magkatabi kase kaming dalawa, as always I guess.

"Yeah, pero di ba nahihiya and mga taong to? I mean when someone asks me to give a love letter to you I sometimes reject them or throw the letters away, and also tell them to give it themselves," he said while reading the letter.

Napataas naman and kilay ko sa sinabi nya.

"What? I am also receiving love letters?" Gulat kong tanong, pero di masyadong gulat.

"Yeah you do, but since I don't like it when they use me, I refuse and throw some of it," he said casually and tiningnan ako matapos nya mabasa and letter, "uhh, you okay?" he said nang tingnan nya ako.

"No I am not, why did you not tell me na may mga admirers din pala ako, and that you've been throwing the letters?" I asked.

"Well, I don't like it, also I thought na di ka interested sa mga love stuff?" He said na parang wala syang ginawang masama.

"Yes I don't, but it's still fun to read the letters, it's great to read the letters of the people that admire you even if some are getting creepier," I said using my lecture tone.

"Well too late, I already scared them off," he said proudly.

"Seriously? This is so unfair, I always give you the letters from your admirers and you're reading them," medyo inis ko na sagot.
