Dragging herself out of bed, the female trudged over to the bathroom to take a quick shower. A look of discomfort graced her features when she felt a shock of pain shoot down her spine. Holy shit.
After a quick, slightly painful shower, [y/n] got dressed for her day, which would be spent at her job at a nearby cafe. This silly pain in her lower half wasn't about to stop her from going to work.
Bzz. Bzz. Bzz.
Picking up the cellphone beside her, she put it on speaker before tossing it on the shelf to get changed.
"Hello." She called out, buttoning up her shirt, gasping when she saw the litter of hickeys on her neck. "That fucking asshole!"
"Huh?" Kageyama mumbled tiredly, surprised by her sudden outburst.
"No, it's nothing." She sighed, turning back to her phone. "Morning. Assuming you're still in bed, when does practice start today?"
"Morning. Yes, I'm still in bed." He yawned. "Practice starts later today but I'm going for a run soon."
"Mm, okay. Don't overwork yourself, pretty boy." [y/n] chuckled upon hearing a raspy scoff from him.
Amusement laced his voice, "I should be saying that to you. Be careful with your Friday activities that I still don't know about." He said quietly, making the female calmly laugh.
"Yup, and it'll stay that way."
"Whatever. I'll talk to you late-." His sentence came to an abrupt stop when Hoshiumi started shouting some random bullshit that made Kageyama sigh. "Bye."
"Alright, bye." She laughed, hanging up on the male who was stuck with Hoshiumi's loud ass early in the morning.
Throwing open her front door, she began her journey to the small cafe that wasnt too far from her house. It was a popular cafe among college students, which [y/n] didn't like all too much but money is money.
"Morning, [l/n]-san." Her boss greeted with a soft smile, reaching out to ruffle her [h/c] hair. He was 5'9 with tousled brown hair and soft chocolate eyes. The man was in his mid-thirties running this cafe with his wife who was currently off on maternity leave. "You look tired today. Do you want to start later?"
[y/n] shook her head with a polite smile. "No, I'm okay. I just stayed up a bit late last night. I can start now." He didn't seem to believe her but nodded, shooing her off to the back so she could get ready for work.
In less than five minutes, she returned to the front house of the cafe with her hair tied up in a low bun and an apron tied on her body. Beginning her day as usual, she started by cleaning the tables and getting ready for the shop to open.
"There have been a rise of college students coming here. It's kind of worrisome." Shoichi, the owner of the shop, said with a small grimace. He could already see the people making their way over to the cafe upon seeing the open sign on the door. "Can you handle it?"
[y/n] grinned, "Of course I can."
