Author's Note: This will probably just be a filler chapter so I'm sorry if it ends up being really short and shitty. I changed Makayla's age to 15 instead of 13 btw. Which means Will is 16. Enjoy.

At the moment Nicole was showing me her text messages between her and some boy, while Will was being a complete idiot and making funny faces.

"Will seriously, you are so fucked up." I said while laughing. He knew I meant it as a joke. He started to fake cry which made me laugh even harder.

"Makaylaaaaa!" Nicole said, dragging my name out longer than she should have. I looked at her with a face that said "what the fuck" and she busted out laughing. Both Will and Nicole were laughing. I don't get what was so funny though.

"No seriously, why did you say my name like that?" I ask and I also start laughing. They just started laughing more and after a little bit I asked them if they wanted to go to the mall.

"Yes!!" Nicole screamed and got weird looks from the people around us. "I can finally get some new band t-shirts and a new pair of combat boots! Mine are literally fucked up." I burst out laughing at this.

"Did you even bring any money?" I said in between fits of laughter.

"Pfft, of course. Why wouldn't I? Psh, I'm always prepared bitches." She said while holding out the word "bitches." So it was more like "bitchesssss."

We arrived at the mall and Nicole decided to go into Hot Topic first. I don't really like shopping but I like to go every once in a while and get some new clothes or shoes. Maybe even a couple of new phone cases. After Nicole bought a couple of band t-shirts and two pairs of skinny jeans, and I got a new sweatshirt that said "Dream" on it, we got in the car and Will started to drive to Kmart. Since Will was the only one with his drivers license and me and Nicole only had our permits, he had to drive to all the stores we went to.

"Hey, can you hand me the thingy that plays music throughout the car?" Nicole asked. Will laughed and said, "You mean the aux cord?"

"I don't give a fuck what it's called. Just give me the damn thing." Will laughed and handed her the aux cord while I was snapchatting my friend Jacob, although he hasn't replied in a while. Jacob is gay and he's been my bestfriend for years now. A lot of people make fun of him and call him ugly and things so he's very suicidal. I'm always worried about him. I really don't want him to ever kill himself or to harm himself in any way. Nicole started to play "Kick Me" by Sleeping with Sirens and I was bobbing my head along to the beat when my phone suddenly started to ring. I glanced down at the screen and saw that Jacobs' mom was calling. As soon as I saw her pop up on my screen, I knew it was bad news. I had Will pull over because I knew we would probably have to turn around and head back home because I knew something bad had happened to Jacob.

"Hello?" I said into the phone. You could tell my voice was shaking. You could hear Mandy, Jacobs' mom, crying over the phone and the very faint sound of the sirens of an ambulance in the background. In a very urgent and shaky voice she said, "Makayla, I came home from work and I- I found Jacob laying on the floor and and there was blood everywhere and I called 911 and we're on the way to Fayette County Memorial hospital. Please get here as soon as you can." Then the call ended. I started to cry and Nicole instantly knew what was wrong. I told Will to drive to Fayette County Memorial hospital as fast as he could and he flashed both lights and kept them on the whole time to signal cops and other people that it was an emergency.

I ran into the hospital and told the nurse behind the desk that I was looking for Jacob Anderson.

"Okay. Let me look him up." I was standing there tapping my foot on the ground urgently and I had tears streaming down my face. I looked into the waiting room and saw Mandy and after the nurse told me what room Jacob was in, I speed walked to Mandy and gave her a hug. Her eyes were red and glassy, and she had tears streaming down her face, just like me. I sat down next to her and texted my mom letting her know where I was.

She texted back and asked if he was okay. I told her that I hadn't seen him yet and that I would text her later. I slid my phone into my pocket after putting it on vibrate and layed my head on Mandy's shoulder and prayed to God that he would be okay. He means so much to me, to everyone. He just doesn't know it. Not yet. But he will. I'll help him to realize that he is worth so much to a lot of people.

It seemed like it had been hours since I got to the hospital before a nurse with a clipboard and a pen looked up and said "Mandy Anderson?" We both jumped up and walked to the nurse who's name I figured out was Aimee by looking at her name tag.

"Where is he, is he okay? I need to see him, please let me see him!" Mandy said while I was holding her hand.

"Please calm down miss. He will be okay, but we are admitting him to Nationwide Children's hospital in Columbus. Just so they can agree that he will be okay." I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and I collapsed onto the ground and had tears once again streaming down my face. He's okay... He's going to be okay...

Sooooo, I guess this isn't a filler chapter! It turned out to be actually kind of good. I think. Haha, but I hope you guys like this chapter. I'm sorry I haven't updated in like FOREVER but I've actually been kind of busy and I just haven't had the time. I also didn't know what to write about. But once again, I truly am really sorry. I hope you enjoyed this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it!
